First, here is what today’s Pope Benedict XVI said about religion in America in a book he wrote entitled Without Roots as quoted on page 61 of the April, 2008 edition of Newsmax magazine:

“The unstable and fragmentary system of rules on which, to outward appearances, American democracy is founded, manage to work because of America’s thriving Protestant Christian-inspired religious and moral convictions.”

This is the first Pope ever to candidly acknowledge the fact that the Catholic Church had nothing to do with establishing freedom of religion in America – a sad but true historical reality for freedom loving Catholics in America.

Second, here’s what founding father and Declaration of Independence signer Samuel Adams said about religion in his 1772 treatise “The Rights of the Colonists” as found in The Works of Samuel Adams at The American Colonist’s Library section of the Bridgeway Internet Library.  Quote Samuel Adams:

“In regard to religion, mutual toleration in the different professions is what all good and candid minds in all ages have ever practiced, and, both by precept and example, inculcated on mankind.  And it is now generally agreed among Christians that this spirit of toleration, in the fullest extent consistent with the being of civil society, is the chief characteristical mark of the Church.

“In so much that Mr. Locke has asserted and proved, beyond the possibility of contradiction on any solid ground; that such toleration ought to be extended to all whose doctrines are not subversive of society.  The only sects which he thinks ought to be, and which by all wise laws are excluded from such toleration, are those which teach doctrines subversive of the civil government under which they live.

“The Roman Catholics or Papists are excluded by reason of such doctrines as these: that princes excommunicated may be deposed, and those they call heretics may be destroyed without mercy; besides their recognizing the Pope in so absolute a manner, in subversion of government, by introducing, as far as possible into the states under whose protection they enjoy life, liberty, and property, that solecism in politics, imperium in imperio, leading directly to the worst anarchy and confusion, civil discord, war, and bloodshed.

“The natural liberty of man, by entering into society is abridged or restrained, so far only as is necessary for the great end of society, the best good of the whole.”  Unquote

You know of course that, with exception of Maryland, twelve of the thirteen colonies banned Catholicism in their colonies from day one of their founding, right up to and even after signing of the Constitution, because of their knowledge of the subversive theocratic history of the Catholic Church in Europe; and the theocratic history of earlier colonization of the Americas by Catholic Spain and France.

It was after loss of Spain and France’s political/military influence in North America that Catholic Rome apparently figured out “if you can’t beat them join them” and put aside its theocratic ways here in America.  Obviously, by the signing of the Constitution in 1789 the Catholic Church had demonstrated its’ willingness to compete for souls in America by peaceful religious persuasion and not by theocratic physical force – and it has thrived here ever since.

All that’s necessary to understand why Islam can and must be outlawed is to replace “Roman Catholics,” “Papist,” and “Pope” referred to by Adams with “Muslims,” “Allah,” and “Imam” and put them in context with Islam’s still fanatical 1400 year history of hatred of Western Civilization.  Be reminded, nowhere in the Gospels of Jesus were Catholics instructed to convert the world to Him by brute force.  Allah, however, in the Koran instructs Moslems to convert “infidels” to Islam by any means including guile and murder.  Catholic Rome or other Christian sects that imposed theocracies in Europe over ancient centuries were no better than today’s Islamic political theocracy.

The difference, then, between ancient European Catholicism and today’s American Catholicism, and why Catholicism today functions so well in American and Islam cannot and will not, is that Catholics have no warrant in the Gospels of Christ to convert America to Catholicism by lies, terror or force to get to heaven.  Muslims, however, cannot abide America as it is as they have a warrant in the Koran to (if they want to gain paradise, and they all do) use any kind of guile or force to convert America to Islam.   Islam, then, is not a religion according to America’s Constitutional standard.  Islam is hateful, spiteful, bigoted political fanaticism and the mortal enemy of our Constitutional Republic.

anno Domini 2011                         OUTLAW ISLAM IN AMERICA!

Should 1st. Amendment Religious Freedom for Moslems Outweigh 1st. Amendment Freedom of Speech for non-Moslems?
