As Muslim Brotherhood proxy, ICNA, steps up its push for sharia law, states must push back harder than ever before

Posted: June 4, 2012 | Author: barenakedislam |

Muslims are expert liars. Groups like CAIR and ICNA will tell you with a straight face that there is “no inherent conflict between the normative values of Islam and the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights.” Or that “secular legal systems in Western democracies generally share the same supreme objectives, and are generally compatible with Islamic Sharia.”

BNI readers know better, but I bet there are 100 people you know who do not. Only 4 states have passed anti-sharia legislation. At least 6 have voted it down, and many more are considering it. We need to educate our legislators because the only ones they are hearing from now on a regular basis are the sharia-promoters from Muslim pressure groups.

Arizona, Tennessee, and Louisiana and just recently Kansas passed an anti-foreign/sharia law bill. Missouri chose not to vote on it so it died for this year. Oklahoma put it to a referendum and it was approved by more than 70% of the electorate. An activist left wing judge overturned it, saying that banning sharia law is ‘unconstitutional.’ Next time, they will not call it sharia law, but foreign law, and it will not be overturned. New Jersey voted it down. Florida and Missouri didn’t put it to a vote, and thus it died…for now. Contact your representatives.

Radical Islam The ICNA campaign to soften  and whitewash sharia for American consumption is based on dizzying historical spin, as demonstrated by Zulfiqar Ali Shah, (also known as Al Fokkar Ali Shah and Tho Al Fokkar Ali Shah), the former president of ICNA and current executive director of the Fiqh Council of North America. His showcase essay, “Founding Father’s [sic] of America’s Indebtedness to Islamic Thought,” makes the specious argument that John Locke, the authority behind much of the Founding philosophy, had a “political outlook [that] closely resembled the Islamic teachings.”

Shah (under the variant “Zululfokka Shah”) is also listed as a scholar associated with the Assembly of Muslim Jurists of AmericaThis committee of Islamic sharia experts, “established in response to the growing need of an Islamic jurisprudence specific to Muslims in the West,” has issued a 47-page manifesto that teaches highest allegiance to Islamic law and reveals fundamental disregard for the American Constitution as Muslims are instructed on the fine points of living and governing under infidel systems, applying man-made law and working as judges or lawyers.

To the Muslim who must act as a judge applying law other than sharia, the document encourages defiant judicial activism, directing him to “rule by [sharia] in every case brought before him, or at least as close as he’s able.” ” If a Muslim judge follows the AMJA document’s injunction to “in his heart hate the man-made law,” it is certain that his judgments will reflect sharia standards, not the will of the American people expressed as law made by their elected representatives.

IPT  The Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) is preaching a global Caliphate and Islamic Shari’a law over America to its members, according to the 2010 ICNA Member’s Hand Book. This is a very different message than the group’s public outreach efforts, and contradicts claims that the organization is a tolerant, mainstream Islamic group.

As the hand book spells out, the organization’s ultimate goal is “the Establishment of Islam” as the sole basis of global society and governance. It also encourages members to deceive people in its proselytizing campaign to help fulfill this goal. This aim is one that ICNA has been actively pursuing as the group has set its sights on America’s constitutional separation of religion and state.

As the hand book explains, ICNA doesn’t just believe that religion is a private affair. “Establishment of the Religion” extends beyond the individual and family and into the society, state, and world. ICNA’s charter is even more explicit. It calls for the “establishment of the Islamic system of life” in the world, “whether it pertains to beliefs, rituals and morals or to economic, social or political spheres.”

For ICNA, this means being the American branch of a global phenomenon that they refer to as the ‘Islamic Movement.’ The 2010 Hand Book notes, branches of this movement “are active in various parts of the world to achieve the same objectives. It is our obligation as Muslims to engage in the same noble cause here in North America.”

The group also realizes that achieving its aim is a slow process and involves several stages. In a section called, “Levels of work by the Islamic Movement,” ICNA lists five stages to attain a global Caliphate. The group advocates spreading its view of Islam to Muslims and non-Muslims alike, starting with the individual and family, and then implementing the “Establishment of the Religion” in the society, state, and global level.

DANGER! A’ sharia-compliant’ NON-Muslim judged in Pennsylvania admonished the victim of a beating by Muslims for wearing a Halloween costume that was offensive to Muslims. Then he dismissed the case.

In the early stages, members pass through the “Tarbiyah Process,” an education consisting of radical literature promoting Islam in place of Western systems at later stages in the Islamic Movement.  “The adoption and adaptation of capitalist, socialist, communist or other man-made systems, either in whole or in part, constitutes a denial of Islam and disbelief in Allah the Lord of the worlds.”

At the “Societal Level,” ICNA advocates Islamist solutions to society’s problems while providing social services and proselytizing to non-Muslims.  Why Islam is a subdivision of the Dawah [proselytizing] Department” that “works to promote Islam among non-Muslims.” However, the document instructs ICNA members to state a different mission by Why Islam to non-Muslims, one that wants to “build a bridge of understanding between Muslims and Non-Muslims” and “to educate the American public with accurate information of Islam.”

In the next stage, called the “State Level,” Islam gains traction in a larger segment of society” and “a good part of the society’s thinking individuals join the movement. Then it may move to establish an Islamic society, obedient to Allah’s commands.”

The struggle then reaches the “Global Level” with worldwide ambitions. Wherever the Islamic movement succeeds to establish true Islamic society, they will form coalitions and alliances. This will lead to the unity of the Ummah [Muslim nation] and towards the establishment of a Khilafah [Caliphate].
