(gopthedailydose) – Newt Gingrich speaks to the gathering of conservatives at the Iowa Freedom Summit, characterizing the current global threat in crystal clear terms. He says, “There is one common pattern occurring everywhere across the planet and that is radical Islamists, who hate our civilization, are prepared to cut off our heads and are determined to impose their religion by force.”

Gingrich says he’s not going to spend a lot of time talking about Hussein Obama’s “pathological incapacity to deal with reality.” He says, “There’s no point in trying to get him to learn how to say the words ‘radical Islamists’ because he has a speech impediment which blocks him from being able to say the words.”

He points out that even the institution of the U.S. Army has become so corrupted by the dishonesty we now live with that they described the Ft. Hood attack as a workplace violence incident.

He says, “We have an elite, frankly in both parties, unwilling to tell the truth. You’re not going to win this war if you can’t tell the truth. You’re not going to win this war if you can’t admit it’s a war.” He affirms his willingness to live in peace with respectful, peace loving Muslims who allow other views but when faced with the Sharia insistent radicals, Gingrich admits to a desire to kill them before they cut off his head.

He points to the critical nature and the significance of the fight in which we are now engaged, comparing it more than once to the battle against communism. Gingrich recommends Congressional hearings into the threat of radical Islam and completely writes off the dangerous Obama regime as well as a potential Hillary Clinton presidency as incapable or unwilling to responsibly address the threat.

Gingrich supports driving them off of the Internet and that whatever it takes to do so we should do.

He also points out the Saudi funding of supposed objective experts who are engaging in the “undermining and weakening the survival of the United States.”

He says we should make it clear that from here on out, the United States is not going to tolerate any kind of advocacy for Sharia or violence against the West, recruiting or fundraising by any terrorist organizations or individuals. He supports those who leave the United States to engage in radical Islamic terrorism losing their U.S. passports and citizenship.

Gingrich points out how, while his countrymen were showing total cowardice in the face of confronting Adolph Hitler, Winston Churchill actually took the time to read “Mein Kampf,” and determined that Hitler actually meant what he was saying, and eventually Hitler proved him to be correct.

Gingrich believes that today we are in the same environment, that our government lies to us daily about the threat, that the intelligence community has been co-opted and that the military is afraid to tell the truth.

He says that, starting with the Congress, we the people need to demand the truth highlighting the indisputable fact that we the people have a right to defend our civilization as well as ourselves and our families from these barbarians.

Obama set on obstructing Netanyahu’s re-election

President Barack Obama and his White House National Security team headed by Susan Rice have decided to seize on the political crisis besetting the Israeli government and the upcoming general election on March 17 for action to bar Binyamin Netanyahu’s reelection to a fourth term as prime minister.

This decision reverberated through Future party leader Yair Lapid’s assertion Wednesday night, Dec. 3, after he was sacked as finance minister, that Binyamin Netanyahu would not be next prime minister. He laid claim to the premiership himself.

The Obama administration has maintained close ties with Lapid during the foreshortened 22 month-life of the departing Israeli government.

The White House is still working on a detailed plan of action, but has lost no time in setting up appointments for the president to receive heads of the parties sworn to overthrow Netanyahu – among others, ex-minister Lapid, opposition leader Yitzhak Herzog of Labor and Tzipi Livni (The Movement), who was fired this week as Justice Minister along with Lapid.

They will be accorded attractive photo-ops with Obama and joint communiqués designed to signify to the Israeli voter that the US president would favor their election to the future government and the country as a whole would gain tangibly from a different government to the incumbent one.

This White House campaign would be accompanied by leaks from Washington for putting Netanyahu and his policies in a derogatory light. Messages to this effect were transmitted to a number of serving political figures as an incentive to jump the Likud-led ship to opposition ranks. The US administration has begun hinting that it may emulate the Europeans by turning the screws on Israel as punishment for the prime minister’s signature policy of developing West Bank and Jerusalem development construction.
Accounts reaching debkafile speak of an outburst of joy in the White House over news of the Netanyahu government’s breakup. It was seen as an opportunity to finally get rid of Binyamin Netanyahu and a golden opportunity to bring Israel back to negotiations with the Palestinians with the Obama administration finally chalking up a success.

At the same time, some senior sources in the US capital confided to debkafile that administration joy over political developments in Israel could quickly prove premature – either in view of another round of violence overtaking the Middle East, or by once again misreading Israel’s political map before stepping in and so failing in its object. But for now the circles around the US president are “highly optimistic” about their chances of forcing Netanyahu’s exit, comparing them to the former success of the first President George Bush in forcing the ouster of the late Yitzhak Shamir as Israeli prime minister in the 90s.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday night, Dec. 3, US Congress passed the US.-Israel Strategic Partnership Act that raises by $200 million the value of emergency US weapons stocked in Israel to a total of $1.8 billion, and guarantees Israel’s qualitative military edge over its neighbors and foes. The motion, passed by a voice vote in the House after clearing the Senate unanimously last September, also promotes closer links in energy, water, homeland security, alternative fuel technology and cyber-security. The bill now goes to President Obama for his signature.

Honor the 9/11 Dead: Defeat the Enemy & Punish Those Supporting Them

It is 13 years after September 11, 2001.

How are we honoring those slain on that day? How are we honoring those in uniform who have given the last full measure of devotion for a cause they believed is truly right and just?

In preparation for his speech Wednesday night (9/10/14), America’s President sought council from the King of Saudi Arabia – the largest financial sponsor of the global jihad.

At the leadership level of our federal intelligence and law enforcement agencies, “catastrophically ignorant” is the only appropriate way to describe their status with regards to our enemy.  And yet our leaders shut down meaningful, fact/evidence based training on this enemy in compliance with the requests of their Muslim Brotherhood masters.

Nearly every major Islamic organization in the United States has been identified in U.S. federal terrorism trials as being a part of the Muslim Brotherhood’s Islamic Movement with the stated goal of destroying America from within via Civilization Jihad.  Yet, our President, National Security Council, State Department, FBI, DHS, Pentagon, and others, ONLY rely on Islamic advisers who are leaders of known MB organizations or affiliated with the MB Movement.

Around the world the Islamic armies are overthrowing nations, brutally murdering non-Muslims (over 100,000 Christians per year in the last few years) by beheading them, crucifying them, burying them alive, and the like – all of which comports to Sharia (Islamic Law).  Yet our leaders say this war has “nothing to do with Islam.”

Because of cowardly and criminally negligent leadership on both sides of the political aisle in America, in our Universities, in our churches, and across our media, the enemy has been given wide latitude to push their jihadi movement forward with great force and success.

We wouldn’t want to offend them after all.

On Wednesday (9/10/14), demonstrating the light of hope for rational thought is still alive, Vice President Dick Cheney called (19:06) for the Muslim Brotherhood to be designated a Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO) and noted they are the root of the global jihad.  At the same time this administration materially supports the MB and Al Qaeda in Libya and Syria against the sitting governments.  All of us would be in jail for such actions.

This behavior, in no way honors the 9/11 dead or our troops who have died in battle.  It is time we rectify this.  It is time to engage and defeat the enemy and punish those who support them.

It is time to recognize the fact that the enemy leading the MB Movement in America wearing suits and spending time with our leaders in cities like Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, New York, Nashville, Denver, Charlotte, Miami, Dallas, Detroit, and others, is the same enemy  cutting off children’s heads and putting them on pikes in Syria and Iraq.  It is the same enemy our troops fought and are fighting in places like Iraq, Afghanistan, the Philippines, North/Central/East Africa, and elsewhere.  This is the global Islamic Movement with one unified goal – the establishment of a global Islamic state (caliphate) under which Sharia (Islamic Law) is the law of the land.

Our Constitutional Republic stands on the principle that God gave us our liberty and no man nor any government may take that liberty from us.  That is the ideal found in our Declaration.  Our Constitution is the first great attempt to make that ideal a reality.  Since its inception, our nation has been the most prosperous, generous, and virtuous in the history of mankind.  Not perfect, but our system requires the drive towards liberty and away from tyranny.

The Islamic Movement seeks to impose Sharia, which necessarily enslaves people and strips them of their God-given liberty.  Women are property under Islamic Law.  Apostates and homosexuals must be killed if they do not repent and change their ways under Islamic Law.  Non-Muslims must convert, be killed, or submit to Sharia and pay the non-Muslim poll tax under Islamic Law.  100% of all published Islamic law agree on these matters.

This enemy only understands one thing – strength and power.  We must exert our strength and power and ensure the enemy knows we will not surrender anymore ground, and we will retake the ground lost thus far.

It is time for the think tanks across this nation to stop mincing words about this Islamic enemy by creating fictitious meaningless phrases which do anything but identify the enemy.  We must recognize that at the nation-state level (hint: Organization of Islamic Cooperation), there is a global war being waged by an Islamic enemy, and we appear to be the only ones unaware.

It is time to shut down the thousands of MB front groups and Islamic Centers in America – which the MB itself says are places from which the jihad will be launched.  All of the MB leaders should be treated like the jihadis (“terrorists”) they are.

Saudi Arabia should be handled like the terrorist state it is.  Men like former Saudi Ambassador to the U.S. Prince Bandar, who funded two of the 9/11 hijackers through a third party,  should be treated as a “terrorist,” as should other members of the Saudi elite class who the U.S. government knows are currently funding the global jihad.

Men like Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, one of the richest men in the world and a leading funder of the global jihad, and who sits on the board of Time Warner  and News Corp, should be handled like any other terrorist, not like an executive of a media giant.

George Soros has created thousands of organizations which work daily to undermine our Constitutional Republic.  Included in these are many organizations, like the New America Foundation, which directly support and work with the Islamic Movement.  Mr. Soros, his enterprise, and at least one of his sons all work to support our enemies and destroy this nation, and all should spend the rest of their days behind bars for it.

Leaders of DHS, FBI, CIA, State Department, and other branches of the government, as well as elected officials who:  continue to appoint Muslim Brotherhood/Hamas, and Al Qaeda individuals to positions of authority inside our bureaucracy; give quarter to our enemies; apologize for and defend their actions; attend functions to raise money for the jihadis; and aid and abet them in any way, should meet the fate of a traitor because they have and are violating the law – not to mention violating their Oath of Office to “protect and defend the Constitution against all enemies.”

When men like Denis McDonough, the President’s former Deputy National Security Advisor, publicly laud leaders of MB organizations and funders of Hamas like Imam Mohamed Magid of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), allow him to have input on U.S. foreign policy and domestic counterterrorism strategies, and give him a security clearance and access to sensitive U.S. systems, Mr. McDonough should go to jail, not get promoted.

When the FBI Director collaborates with leaders of Hamas (dba “CAIR”), the Muslim American Society (MAS), the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), and other jihadis, and then testifies before Congress that he did not know the place where the Boston Marathon bombers were radicalized was founded by an Al Qaeda operative – and Americans are dead – well…we put doctors and lawyers in jail for criminal negligence like this.

When elected officials and law enforcement leaders raise money for Hamas in America, they should be prosecuted for a variety of charges, including material support for terrorism.  They are breaking the law and should pay the price for directly supporting our enemies.

The President himself has violated his oath of office and federal law, abused his powers of the office he holds, and has exposed America and its people to grave dangers on a number of levels.  At no time in history has such a gross disregard for the Constitution been so evident, yet the American people so silent.

It is time for those who give aid and comfort, propaganda, material support, and financial reward to our enemies to pay a price.  And it should be a harsh price.

If we are to honor the great and heroic sacrifices of all of the men and women who gave their lives on 9/1/01 and since, it is time for America to shed its weak and traitorous leadership and begin to retake our place in the world as the strong, principled leader we are and were meant to be.

If Americans would like to experience on U.S. streets what we are witnessing in Syria, Iraq, Niger, Mali, Pakistan, and elsewhere around the world, then let us continue on the road we are on of capitulation and defeat.

If we want to stand on the wall and defend Western civilization, the actions advocated here are much less severe than we will have to engage in when the enemy makes itself prominently known in our hometowns.

[Editor’s Note: This does not necessarily entail the beliefs, thoughts, or theories of the local Act chapters or the National Act office…they are my beliefs, thoughts and/or theories. King Barack Hussein Islama’s speech yesterday (10 Sep 14) stated that he was going to commit a total of 1600 troops (just adding to what was already there for a total of 1600), as well as arming and training the Syrian Rebels (which have been verified are primarily Al Qaeda operatives that the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) sent there to get rid of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad), the same group that attacked America thirteen years ago today, the same group that created, trained and armed the MB army, Islamic State in Iraq and Syria. Barack Hussein Islama is, once again doing what he can to beef up the terrorists, and their creator, the Muslim Brotherhood, in which king BHO and parts of his family are members of.

So, in reality, President Islama’s plan is to aid the global terrorist creating organization (MB) in taking over America, by arming them and having US troops train them, as well as US tax-payers, funding their own demise.

I do ask that you take a moment today to pray for the revival of America, and to remember what happened today, eleven years ago today…the attack from one of the Muslim Brotherhood’s militia jihadist groups, Al Qaeda, the very group that BHO keeps financing, training and arming since our current “Christian” king came into office.]

Pre-Islamic Arabia and Pagan Foundations of Islam

While many today would consider Islam to be a fiercely monotheist and purist religion absent of all pagan roots an examination of the historical record reveals a much more immediate past with several originally pagan practices still being practiced today under the guise of monotheism. Islam, like many other world religions, was created to unify a disintegrated tribal region for purposes of power and was less a revelation of one god then it was a form of henotheism masquerading as monotheism. We will find that many fundamental Islamic practices such as reverence and prayer toward the Kaaba, the very nature of Allah, and the the Hajj to Mecca all find their way to pagan beginnings.

While other monotheist religions may have been influenced by pagan cults in their beginning the difference in Islam is that these pagan practices continue up until today, arbitrarily without explanation or extensive scriptural support, and these ceremonies have not been purged. This may come as a startling revelation to some, considering the virulent strain of fundamentalist Islam that has risen to prominence in the late twentieth and twenty first century preaching a strict monotheism and intolerance or violence toward those who do not accept the one true god “Allah.”

Doctors Richard Hooker and Richard Hines of Washington State University paint a compelling image of the landscape of pre-Islamic history. Before the Arabs became unified Arabia proper was comprised of warring tribes bound together by no permanent central government. As no major rivers ran through this region no large permanent cities became viable prospects, with large settlements such as Riyadh only becoming recently possible with modern technology. As a consequence the Arab peoples became nomadic herders of cattle who oversaw the domain of large pastures.  For the purposes of this research we will focus on the pastoralist Bedouin tribes which comprise inner Arabia of the Pre-Islamic classical era and when “Arabs” are referenced we are specifically not including Arab kingdoms near the Levant and southern coast such as the Nabataean and Sabean empires.

While at times the Arabs would momentarily unify to raid Persia or the immensely wealthy Yemenite coast they mostly warred amongst each other, especially in the form of caravan raids, for the Arabs were prolific traders, and this was their primary source of wealth.

The commerce these tribes were concerned with was the Indian to Mediterranean trade which passed through Southern Arabia on its way to Byzantium. The Arab tribes served as intermediaries to facilitate such a trade and profited as being couriers of such goods or by simply taking up the warpath and raiding the goods from other tribes which tended to cooperate.

During the time of Mohammed, what has come to be known as the classical era, al-Arabiyya or classical Arabic became widespread and became the language of poetry and culture, allowing for the soon to be transmitted Koran. Muru’a or the Arabic equivalent to the Greek arête and Roman virtus, the virtue of manliness and excellence, was soon hailed as vital to heroic leadership. The cultivation of this virtue in tribal society transformed the Arab people who already had a disposition to war into a formidable expansionary force with a powerful leadership, a framework which would make it easier to equate kinship ties with military hierarchy and allowed for the formation of a sprawling Arab empire in years to come.

Pre-Islamic religious practice was comprised of two principle sources: local animist tradition in the form of grove, rock and meteorite worship as well as veneration of a vast pantheon of gods mainly derived from western Semitic sources, to which the tribes celebrated a form of henotheism locally. When the Quraysh captured Mecca circa 500 C.E. following in the wake of the recent Arab militarization they proclaimed Hubal, the tribal head god who was known to have subordinate to him his goddess daughters al-Lat (cognate to Allatu, the Carthaginian underworld goddess originating from Ereshkigal), al-Uzza, and al-Manat (the same goddesses who famously appear in the “satanic verses” of Sura 53), as lord of the temple city (Occhigrosso 394-397). To the Quraysh this Hubal was often referred to as “Allah” for “Allah” is not a proper name but actually a contraction of “al-” and “-ilah” meaning “the god (Jeffery 85, Brill 302, Peters 3-41).” Even the word “Ilah” has a deeper meaning as “Il” or “Ilah” refers to an even earlier primeval lunar god worshipped by the Arabs which by the time of the Quraysh had become a general name for “god.” According to Carelton Coon “…under Mohammed’s tutelage, the relatively anonymous Ilah became Al-Ilah, The God, or Allâh, the Supreme Being. (Coon 399).”

This is not simply a matter of semantics: “Allah” does not mean “God” but “the god,” the first implies that there is a singular god and second meaning implies that this god is a god of prominence amongst others. Allah was not a revelatory name as discovered by Mohammed but instead a common term used by his tribe, and possibly the other tribes of Inner Arabia, to refer to the chief god amongst others.

Following in Semitic tradition many Arabs named their children as “servant” or “slave” of their chief god, the famous Carthaginian “Hannibal” translates to “grace of the Lord (Baal)” (Baal = El) for example. One such named individual was Abd Allah, Mohammed’s own father who died before Mohammed was even born (Andrae 13-30). Numerous others were named after “Allah” before the revelation of Islam occurred including such significant figures of Pre-Islamic history such as Quraysh kinsmen Abd-Allah ben Djahsh, Ubayd-Allah, Abd-Allah ben Djudan and the sons of Umar: Abd-Allah and ‘Ubayd-Allah. The presence of such names in the historical record alludes to the notion that “Allah” was worshipped before Mohammed’s time and was in reverence of the god Hubal (Peters 3-41, Brockelmann 8-10).

It can be conjectured that Mohammed chose “Allah” as the “God” of Islam because the name rang true amongst his clansmen (Andrae 13-30) and the other Arab tribes who had come to respect Hubal as the chief god of Mecca, with the passing of time eventually centralizing the cult into the belief that “Allah” had always been the one God. Surely when Mohammed began referring to his new god as “Allah” it must have caused no immediate alarm amongst his Arab brethren as the term was not then used a proper noun but simply a substitute for a name of reverence (similar to the western Semitic Baal which simply means Lord and is not the proper name of the God being identified), in the case of the Quraysh: Hubal. This ingenious use of language was only made possible by a previous event in Pre-Islamic history which made the worship of Hubal familiar to the Arabs visiting Mecca: the conquest of the city by Mohammed’s tribe.

Connected with the worship of Gods was also the worship of stones and idols. When the Quraysh captured Mecca they installed atop the Kaaba an idol of Hubal, marking him most prominent amongst the reportedly three hundred and sixty god idols of the Cube (Armstrong 11). For the next one hundred and twenty years the cult of Hubal (up until Mohammed’s conquest of Mecca in 620 C.E.) was centralized and Arabs visiting Mecca during the Hajj would have become familiar with the god’s prominent position atop the other lesser deities represented at the holy city. A less likely report made in Sarwar’s Muhammed the Holy Prophet claims that “Amr bin Lahyo bin Harath bin Amr ul-Qais bin Thalaba bin Azd bin Khalan bin Babalyun bin Saba” of Hijaz had placed the Hubal idol even earlier, four hundred years before the birth of Mohammed (Sarwar 18-19). Regardless of who installed the Hubal idol in its prime location at Mecca what is surely known is that the Quraysh named the god chief amongst others. The Quraysh would have expected visiting Arabs to pay special homage to the “Lord” of the city upon their pilgrimage and to respect Hubal as the chief god while within the city. While these provisions did not destroy the polytheism of Arabia it may have reinforced henotheistic notions which would allow for a shift to monotheism to be not as startling as it would have been in past times and would have made Arabs familiar with the name of “Allah,” a phrase which by that time had become synonymous with Hubal.

History shows that as societies become increasingly wealthy, literate and militarily powerful they become increasingly monotheistic, a trend which may have been increasingly apparent in the years approaching Mohammed’s birth as made possible by the economic virtues of the classical Arabic era. Mohammed’s declaration of Shahadah can be interpreted as a final declaration of Hubal’s primacy and his destruction of the idol cults within Mecca during 620 C.E. more of a political showing of power rather than a religious statement. Mohammed’s centralization of the cult can be paralleled with the King Hezekiah’s religious reforms of the seventh century B.C.E., reforms with religious overtures more so designed to increase the monarch’s power from tribal overlord to king proper by means of national ideology (as proposed by Professor Robert Beckford in his Channel 4 documentary Who Wrote The Bible?).

While the Islamic god has roots in the worship of the lunar god Hubal so does the veneration of the Kaaba have ancient pagan roots. The original black stone which the Kaaba was built around to protect was most likely a meteorite connected with the worship of baetyli or sacred stones, a common practice of the pre-Islamic Arabs. As the ancient Arabs primarily worshipped gods representing astrological entities such as the moon, sun and Venus, the principal deity before Hubal being the worship of the lunar goddess al-Lat, these meteorites were considered to be actual pieces of the gods themselves and the places where they landed were considered the most sacred places of ancient Arabia. These places were considered to be areas to which the spirit and material world met, linking the heavens and earth, metaphorically referred to as the Gates of Heaven (Armstrong-2 221). Other Kaaba structures existed during the classical period such as the “red stone”, the deity of the south Arabian city of Ghaiman, and the “white stone” in the Ka’ba of al-Abalat (near the city of Tabala, south of Mecca) (Grunebaum 24). The worship of these stones was not only connected to the worship of primeval lunar gods but also even earlier animist traditions in accordance with the belief in stone fetishes, magical mountains, ponds, groves, special rock formations and “trees of strange growth” to which the Arabs believed were possessed by spirits which afforded them special protection or blessings in war and in economic ventures, according to Grunebaum among others (Brockelmann 8-10, Van Ess 29, Martin 96, Rodinson 16-17).

It is likely that the Kaaba we know today, the one which houses the black stone, was one of the few if not the only shrines to be constructed out of stone and to which a major cult of worship developed. Mecca would soon come to be known as a holy ground to which warring tribes could meet peacefully and settle their differences (Grunebaum 18), a practice which would lead to regular pilgrimages to the site, visits which eventually become known as the Hajj. The Kaaba is mentioned by several ancient historians including the second century C.E. historian Ptolemy who refers to it as Macoraba, a “south Arabian foundation created around a sanctuary” (Wensinck 318). The first century B.C.E. historian Diodorus Siculus also mentions the Kaaba in his Bibliotheca Historica saying “and a temple has been set-up there, which is very holy and exceedingly revered by all Arabians (Gibbon 223-224).”

While Mecca was considered a sacred site during this ancient period it had more implications as sanctified ground useful for peaceful convergence than it had as a religious temple, the latter implication was brought about with the Quraysh invasion and the primacy of Hubal in an attempt at centralizing the tribe’s regional power (Grunebaum 19). The Quraysh solidified the notion of the Kaaba as a religious temple and also a major spice, leather, jewelry, blacksmithing, textile and perfume (Heck) trading center (Armstrong-2 221-222) which greatly increased the power and prestige of the tribe and organized yearly pilgrimages to the site, formalizing the Hajj into a ritualized custom.

These arbitrary reverences based in pagan superstitions, goddess worship, tribal infighting, idol worship and animism would come to form some of the fundamental rituals of Islam, foundations which were supposedly revealed to Mohammed by the angel Gabriel. In actuality it can conjectured that Mohammed reinvented pagan institutions which had already existed for hundreds or even thousands of years in hopes of creating a seductive, tribally accepted imperial ideology designed to form a strong unifying backbone for the Arab empire to come, to which Mohammed was supremely successful.

Terror Group Tied to Turkish Gov’t Recruits Hamas Human Shields

The head of the ‘charity’ said the purpose of the shields is to spark a war between Israel and Turkey and the broader Muslim world.

A terror-linked charity closely linked to the Turkish government is organizing human shields in the Gaza Strip and pledging to “erect the flag of Islam everywhere.” Prime Minister Erdogan is a top backer of Hamas and allows this charity, the Humanitarian Relief Foundation (IHH), to operate.

IHH’s website has a photo of the sign-up event in front of the Israeli embassy. The website refers to the Hamas terrorists targeted by Israel as “resistance fighters.” CNN Turkey reports that IHH has signed up at least 73 volunteers to act as human shields in Gaza, with 38 being women.

Another page on the website talks about an IHH press conference where its president, Bulent Yildirim, openly talked about its organizing of human shields. Its press release was endorsed by the Association of Muslim Scholars, a body led by the spiritual leader of Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood.

“We, as IHH started the human shield project,” Yildirim said.

He said that it is negotiating safe passage with the Syrian government and if the Assad regime refuses, they will arrive by boat. He also called on Muslim countries to “provide weaponry support for self-protection.”

Shockingly, Yildirim said the objective of sending the human shields is to spark a war between Israel and Turkey and the broader Muslim world. He explained:

“[W]e will tell Turkey that they will have to protect us. When we are passing by sea, if Israel fires at the Turkish ships protecting us, they will come face to face with the Israel and Turkey alliance. We are looking at how this war will end up. We are ready.”

The long-term goal of IHH is to create a caliphate, as Yildirim stated matter-of-factly:

“Israel has done what we could not do. Israel has laid the foundation of an Islamic Union by attacking Gaza. I believe that soon, all Muslim countries will unite to become members of the establishment of the Islamic Union,” Yildirim said.

IHH is also organizing protests in Turkey. At one event, which registered people to be human shields, Yildirim said, “Witness the enthusiasm of people gathered here to go to Gaza. We Muslims may show up in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem one day unannounced and we will erect the flag of Islam everywhere.”

IHH is headquartered in Istanbul but operates in 135 countries, including the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip. It is best known for its role in the 2010 Mavi Marmara incident, when IHH sent a ship to break the Israeli weapons blockade on Gaza.

According to the UN, the blockade was legal. It was set up to prevent Hamas from importing weapons through the sea. Yildirim said at the IHH press conference that the Mavi Marmara will soon sail to Gaza again.

IHH members on the Mavi Marmara were armed. When Israeli soldiers boarded the vessel, nine IHH members were killed attacking the Israelis. Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan used the opportunity to confront Israel and elevate his stature among Islamists. IHH Deputy Director Huseyin Oruc said he was warmly embraced by the Deputy Prime Minister after the incident and “we have good coordination with Mr. Erdogan.”

Up to 10 MPs from Erdogan’s AK political party planned to board the ship but were told by the government not to. At least 21 people on IHH’s board of directors at the time were involved with Erdogan’s AK party. One IHH official was the chairman of the parliament’s foreign affairs committee.

According to its website, the Turkish parliament bestowed IHH with an “Award of Honor” in 2007. In 2009, Yildirim spoke at a Hamas event and declared, “All the peoples of the Islamic world would want a leader like Recep Tayyip Erdogan.”

IHH is reacting to the latest fighting between Israel and Hamas with extremist incitement, just as Erdogan is. Erdogan says Israel has “surpassed Hitler in barbarism” and has launched a campaign of “systematic genocide.” IHH falsely claims that Israel is firing missiles randomly into Gaza “without considering women and children.”

IHH’s links to Hamas would only encourage Erdogan to embrace the group. In 2010, Erdogan declared that Hamas is not a terrorist group. His government supports Hamas politically and financially and even harbors Hamas leaders. Erdogan is also an unshakeable friend of the Muslim Brotherhood, the parent organization of Hamas.

Germany, the Netherlands and Israel have all banned IHH as a terrorist organization. The U.S. has not, even though 87 Senators have requested it, including Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) and prominent leaders of both political parties.

The U.S. government has indirectly admitted that IHH is linked to terrorism. In 2008, the Treasury Department sanctioned the Union of Good, a network of charities, because it was “created by Hamas leadership to transfer funds to the organization.” IHH is a member of the Union of Good.

In 2009, a senior Treasury Department official addressed IHH’s terrorist ties with Turkish officials. A leaked State Department document records that the official mentioned how IHH is “providing material assistance to Hamas.”

In 2010, the State Department said it could not prove links between IHH and Al Qaeda but is “greatly concern[ed]” about IHH’s meetings with Hamas leaders. The State Department earlier said it was considering labeling IHH as a Foreign Terrorist Organization. It never happened.

The links of IHH to Hamas, labeled by the U.S. as a Foreign Terrorist Organization, are irrefutable. The two lavish praise upon each other. IHH sponsored a funeral for a Hamas leader named Mohammad Said Heyam. IHH’s campaign coordinator in Europe, Muhammad Sawalha, used to be a senior Hamas leader before moving to the United Kingdom.

French counterterrorism magistrate Judge Jean-Louis Bruguiere has documented links between IHH and Al Qaeda as well. For example, he has referred to phone calls between IHH and an Al Qaeda safe house in 1996. Turkish police raids on IHH in 1997 found strong evidence of its involvement in violent jihad.

The Danish Institute for International Studies quotes  from his report:

It appears that the detained members of IHH were going to fight in Afghanistan, Bosnia, and Chechnya … The essential goal of this Association was to illegally arm its membership for overthrowing democratic, secular, and constitutional order present in Turkey and replacing it with an Islamic state founded on the Shariah.

Under the cover of this organization known under the name of IHH, [IHH leaders] acted to recruit veteran soldiers in anticipation of the coming holy war. In particular, some men were sent into war zones in Muslim countries in order to acquire combat experience. On the spot, the formation of a military unit was assured. In addition, towards the purpose of obtaining political support from these countries, financial aid was transferred [from IHH], as well as caches of firearms, knives, and pre-fabricated explosives.

In 2001, federal prosecutors called upon the magistrate as an expert witness in the trial of Al Qaeda terrorist Ahmed Ressam. He was involved in the “Millennium Bomb Plot” to attack the Los Angeles International Airport.

Bruguiere testified that IHH had an “important role” in the Al Qaeda plot. He referred to phone calls from the terror cell’s apartment to IHH in Istanbul.

In 2011, two IHH members were arrested in Somalia after meeting with Al-Shabaab, Al Qaeda’s affiliate there. They traveled to an area known to be under the control of the terrorist group; IHH says they were delivering humanitarian aid to refugees.

The Erdogan government clashed with its own law enforcement earlier this year when it took action against IHH and Al Qaeda. In early January,  Turkish police stopped an IHH truck that was suspected of transferring weapons to Syria. The officers involved were retaliated against and moved to new jobs. The public prosecutor filed a complaint against the government for obstructing justice.

About two weeks later, Turkish police raided six IHH offices as part of a terrorism investigation and arrested 23 people for allegedly having links to Al Qaeda. It was reported that two were senior Al Qaeda operatives. The lead police officer was immediately fired and the raids were condemned by the Deputy Prime Minister. The eight involved prosecutors had their bodyguards reassigned and a second police chief was fired.

IHH operates in Turkey without any interference from Erdogan as it supports Hamas and recruits human shields. Yet, the U.S. hasn’t followed Germany, the Netherlands and Israel in listing IHH as a Foreign Terrorist Organization.

Erdogan’s government would erupt in anger if the U.S. treated IHH like the terrorist entity it undoubtedly is, but that is the action required to counter the organization’s terrorist activities. At the same time, the U.S. needs to initiate a reevaluation of Ankara’s membership in NATO member since this is just the latest in a string of actions taken by the Turkish government in support of extremists and terrorism.

ADL’s Interfaith Summer Camp Infiltrated by Supporters of Al Qaeda Terrorist

How would you feel if you sent your son or daughter to an Anti-Defamation League summer camp only to find out that the camp’s youth coordinators are supporters of a convicted Al Qaeda terrorist?

Brothers Bilal and Ammaar Mirza have been involved with Anti-Defamation League’s (ADL’s) Camp Interfaith in beautiful Andover, New Hampshire since they were teenagers, first as campers and then as staffers. Yet at the very same time, they have also been active in a Boston area extremist Islamist movement that is viciously anti-American and tinged with anti-Semitism, a movement that has coalesced around the cause of a local jihadist celebrity, Tarek Mehanna.

Tarek Mehanna, a Sudbury native, is currently serving a 23 year sentence in Federal prison for conspiracy to provide material support to Al Qaeda, conspiracy to murder in a foreign country, and lying to the FBI about his attempts to join up with Al Qaeda in Yemen. Tarek Mehanna liked to refer to himself as “the media wing of Al Qaeda in Iraq” and told his friends that he felt Osama Bin Laden was like a father to him. He and his co-conspirators had visited the 9/11 Ground Zero site in NYC, where he snapped photos of himself grinning and holding up the index finger salute used by Islamic extremists.

In recorded conversations, he said he wished “Allah’s mercy on just the [World Trade Center] buildings, not the sinners that were in it.”

According to the FBI, Mehanna had planned an assault rifle massacre of shoppers in North Attleboro’s Emerald Square Mall. An FBI agent assigned to his case recounted in court filings how “Mehanna and his co-conspirators, who shared videos and took real pleasure in the deaths of American servicemen, seemed to delight in the most horrific atrocities.” The Feds intercepted online conversations in which Mehanna gleefully urges his friends to check out a terrorist video he found online where Al Qaeda fighters in Iraq rip open the ribcages of US soldiers, pour gasoline in their chest cavities and set them on fire. “[N]ice juicy BBQ,” Mehanna gloated to his friends. “Texas BBQ is the way to go. I want more BBQ sauce videos.”

Throughout the course of his trial, Americans for Peace and Tolerance (our organization) identified and filmed  ADL youth programs coordinators Bilal and Ammaar – as well as their father Farooq – taking active part in multiple rallies organized by the so-called “Free Tarek” movement. We have also extensively documented the vicious anti-American rhetoric from speaker after speaker at these gatherings, as well as hateful anti-Semitic online postings like “Close Guantanamo Bay, Reopen Auschwitz,” by members of the group.  Mehanna’s admirers also include people who do more than cheer him on: A prayer card in support of Mehanna was found in the apartment of the Boston Marathon bombers.

They’re chanting “Free Tarek” with the rest of the extremist crowd, riled up by Mehanna’s family members and the leader of the Boston Marathon bombers’ mosque, who told the assembled Muslims that they’ll be the next victims of the wicked American government if they don’t do something about it.

But ADL youth program coordinator Bilal Mirza told the Boston Herald that, “he’s known Mehanna for years and looks up to him,” saying, “He’s always been a great mentor.” Here is what Bilal wrote about Mehanna while calling for his release:

“Tariq [sic] is a great, humble, and gentle person. His actions, mannerisms, as well as his overall demeanor exude the qualities of intrinsic humanity. He is not only a [sic] honest Muslim, but also and endearing human being. … He does not deserve the things that are happening to him.”

Inexplicably then, the ADL hired a man who considers someone who gloats over the vicious mutilation of American troops and the murder of 3,000 Americans on 9/11 “an endearing human being” who “exude[s] the qualities of intrinsic humanity.” And ADL hired him to work with and influence children entrusted to its care, If having his moral views doesn’t disqualify Bilal from becoming an ADL youth camp staffer, what would?

Bilal and Ammaar are not just random young men who happened to work summers at ADL’s camp: our research indicates that the entire Mirza family is as close to the ADL as it is to the Mehanna clan.

In fact, young Bilal and his father Farooq Mirza were prominently honored at the ADL’s 2013 Nation of Immigrants Seder. Farooq was given the honor of being a co-chair of the event together with such notables as former Boston Mayor Tom Menino and Newton Mayor Setti Warren.

Bilal Mirza was a member of the ADL Seder’s planning committee. ADL New England’s Executive Director Robert Trestan personally introduced Bilal at the podium and asked “those of you who came here with children, those of you who have kids at home” to consider sending them to the interfaith summer camp for some quality time with Bilal. After taking the podium, Bilal proceeded to quote a Quranic verse traditionally interpreted as rebuking Jews for deviating from divine truth.

Bilal seems to be advancing at ADL. In August 2013, he worked with the organization to expand the summer camp program into a year-long program called “ADL Interfaith Youth Leadership Coalition.” The launch was held at Babson College, where Bilal is the campus Muslim chaplain. Northeastern University had to dismiss its own Muslim chaplain, Abdullah Faaruuq, after our organization exposed his own support of Tarek Mehanna. But given the “Jewish stamp of approval” provided him by the ADL, it’s no surprise to see Bilal remain in his perch at Babson and rise to such positions of influence where he can spread his views to New England’s Muslim youth.

As highly regarded as they are by ADL, Bilal and Farooq Mirza also seem much esteemed by the notorious Saudi-funded and Al Qaeda terrorist-founded Islamic Society of Boston (ISB). Farooq Mirza was given a place of honor right next to former Boston Mayor Menino at the ISB’s Roxbury mosque grand opening in 2009.

Bilal Mirza seems close with the Imam of ISB Cambridge, where the Boston Marathon bombers prayed and, according to the FBI, posed for pictures with the mosque’s Al Qaeda “black flag of jihad.”

ADL New England’s Board Chair Jeff Robbins is rumored to be the replacement of ADL’s national head, Abe Foxman, when Foxman retires in late July. Before he became an ADL official, however, Robbins was so deeply concerned about the Islamic Society of Boston’s terrorist connections that he drafted a memorandum to the Federal Justice Department outlining “crimes that may have been committed by the ISB or by officers of the ISB.” In the memorandum, Robbins accused the ISB’s leaders of “Providing Material Support to Foreign Terrorist Organizations.” But now as an ADL official bound by Foxman’s interfaith policies, Robbins honors some of the ISB’s most prominent activists and allows them to live with and supervise Jewish children, whose parents trust the ADL to inculcate them with proper values, and to keep them safe.

So what actually goes on at ADL’s Camp Interfaith? This quote from a 2006 Boston Globe puff piece about the camp comes from a teenage Jewish girl: “Even if we’re discussing whether Hezbollah is a terrorist group,” she said, “afterward we can still be friends and go play soccer.”  Does ADL really want to teach American Jewish teens that they can be friends with Muslims here only if they betray the Jews of Israel?

Even more concerning: what are ADL’s radical Muslim staffers teaching New England’s young Muslims at this camp? Bilal Mirza is himself an anti-Israel ideologue. The year after he first started working at ADL’s Camp Interfaith, Bilal uploaded an album of pictures from his trip to Gaza to his Facebook profile. The album was titled: “If you support Israel, look at the destruction you support.”

These are not the kinds of things that ADL advertises when it sends out the fundraising letters that annually help it net close to $50 million of precious Jewish communal capital. When Bubbe sends that donation check believing ADL’s promises to fight the anti-Semitism and anti-Israelism her grandchildren face on campus, little does she know that ADL is using her hard-earned retirement savings to bring anti-Semites and Israel haters literally into its own tents, giving them career-boosting cover in the process.

Has ADL’s leadership become so arrogant and doctrinaire leftist that it refuses to do minimal checking of its Muslim interfaith partners? Or is it so incompetent that it can’t use Google to do the sort of simple vetting of job applicants that McDonald’s does routinely?

Until ADL breaks its ties with terrorist supporters like the Mirzas and does a thorough audit of its vetting process for interfaith partners, Jewish children who attend its interfaith camp will continue being exposed to interpersonal “peace-making” scenarios where they can hear from ADL staffers that Hizbullah may not really be a terrorist organization – no matter its expressed mission to murder all Jews.

They will continue being exposed to “youth coordinators” like Bilal Mirza, who have claimed that if Jewish kids support Israel, they support destroying Palestinian kids’ homes.

But even more concerning is that if ADL does not correct its faulty vetting policy, Muslim children in New England will be exposed to extremists like Bilal, who claim that an Al Qaeda terrorist is actually an honest Muslim who is simply a victim of the evil American government.

We were in fact first warned about the Mirzas by moderate Boston Muslims concerned about the radicals within their community. And they – the true moderates we should all be befriending – are deeply upset by how groups like the ADL simple-mindedly expose their children to Islamic extremists under the guise of interfaith dialogue. Does the ADL have no relations with the truly moderate, patriotic members of the Muslim community in New England?

Interfaith work is extremely important in these volatile times. It needs to be done well by competent professionals. Jewish and Muslim parents in New England should demand no less. ADL must conduct a thorough of how this happened, explain to the community what went wrong, dissociate itself entirely from the Mirza family and put its Interfaith Youth Leadership Coalition on hold until it can guarantee that Jewish and Muslim children are safe in its care.

Meanwhile, it is clear to us: ADL’s leaders have deserted their organization’s mission, its members, and its donors. It’s time for its donors to tell them “enough.”

{O mankind, fear your Lord, who created you from one soul and created from it its mate and dispersed from both of them many men and women. And fear Allah, through whom you ask one another, and the wombs. Indeed Allah is ever, over you, an Observer} [An-Nisā’: 1].

{O you who have believed, fear Allah and speak words of appropriate justice. He will amend for you your deeds and forgive you your sins. And whoever obeys Allah and His messenger has certainly achieved a great triumph} [Al-Ahzāb: 70-71].

As for what follows:

Allah (the Exalted) said, {O you who have believed, decreed upon you is fasting as it was decreed upon those before you that you may become righteous} [Al-Baqarah: 183].

{The month of Ramadan [is that] in which was revealed the Quran, a guidance for the people and clear proofs of guidance and criterion. So whoever sights [the new moon of] the month, let him fast it} [Al-Baqarah: 185].

We congratulate the ummah (people) of Islam, in the East and in the West, on the advent of the blessed month of Ramadan, and we praise Allah (the Exalted) for allowing us to reach this virtuous month.

Al-Bukhārī and Muslim reported on the authority of Abū Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) who narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “Whoever fasts the month of Ramadan, having faith and anticipating a reward, will have his past sins forgiven.” He also said, “Whoever stands in prayer in the month of Ramadan, having faith and anticipating a reward, will have his past sins forgiven.”

So congratulations to you, O slaves of Allah, as Allah has allowed you to reach this noble month. Praise Allah and thank Him for having granted you long lives, thereby giving you a chance to correct your past deeds. Meet the month of Ramadan with sincere repentance and truthful resolve.

{O you who have believed, repent to Allah with sincere repentance. Perhaps your Lord will remove from you your misdeeds and admit you into gardens beneath which rivers flow [on] the Day when Allah will not disgrace the Prophet and those who believed with him} [At-Tahrīm: 8].

{And hasten to forgiveness from your Lord and a garden as wide as the heavens and earth, prepared for the righteous} [Āl-‘Imrān: 133].

And there is no deed in this virtuous month or in any other month better than jihad in the path of Allah, so take advantage of this opportunity and walk the path of you righteous predecessors. Support the religion of Allah through jihad in the path of Allah. Go forth, O mujahidin in the path of Allah. Terrify the enemies of Allah and seek death in the places where you expect to find it, for the dunyā (worldly life) will come to an end, and the hereafter will last forever.

{So do not weaken and call for peace while you are superior; and Allah is with you and will never deprive you of [the reward of] your deeds. This worldly life is only amusement and diversion} [Muhammad: 35-36].

{And this worldly life is not but diversion and amusement. And indeed, the home of the Hereafter – that is the [eternal] life, if only they knew} [Al-‘Ankabūt: 64].

{But the enduring good deeds are better to your Lord for reward and better for [one’s] hope} [Al- Kahf: 46].

And blessed is the one who parts with his dunyā in Ramadan and meets his Lord on a day from amongst the days of forgiveness.

O mujahidin in the path of Allah, be monks during the night and be knights during the day. Bring joy to the hearts of a believing people, and show the tawāghīt (rulers who claim Allah’s rights) what they are wary of.

O mujahidin in the path of Allah, truly the matter is that of Allah’s religion and His commodity. You only have one soul, and an appointed time of death that will neither be hastened nor delayed. It is a matter of Paradise and Hellfire, happiness and misery. As for the religion of Allah, then it will be victorious. Allah has promised to bring victory to the religion. And as for Allah’s commodity, then it is precious and valuable. Indeed His commodity is costly. Indeed His commodity is Paradise. As for the soul, then what a lowly, miserable, wretched soul it is if it does not seek what is with Allah and does not support the religion of Allah.

By Allah, we will never be mujahidin as long as we are stingy with our lives and our wealth. By Allah, we will never be truthful as long as we do not sacrifice our lives and wealth in order to raise high the word of Allah and bring victory to the religion of Allah.

{Indeed, Allah has purchased from the believers their lives and their properties [in exchange] for that they will have Paradise. They fight in the cause of Allah, so they kill and are killed. [It is] a true promise [binding] upon Him in the Torah and the Gospel and the Quran. And who is truer to his covenant than Allah? So rejoice in your transaction which you have contracted. And it is that which is the great triumph} [At-Tawbah: 111}.

So take up arms, take up arms, O soldiers of the Islamic State! And fight, fight!

Beware of becoming deluded and losing strength. Beware, for the dunyā has come to you reluctantly, so kick it down, trample it, and leave it behind you. Indeed, what is with Allah is better and more lasting.

Indeed, the ummah of Islam is watching your jihad with eyes of hope, and indeed you have brothers in many parts of the world being inflicted with the worst kinds of torture. Their honor is being violated. Their blood is being spilled. Prisoners are moaning and crying for help. Orphans and widows are complaining of their plight. Women who have lost their children are weeping. Masājid (plural of masjid) are desecrated and sanctities are violated. Muslims’ rights are forcibly seized in China, India, Palestine, Somalia, the Arabian Peninsula, the Caucasus, Shām (the Levant), Egypt, Iraq, Indonesia, Afghanistan, the Philippines, Ahvaz, Iran [by the rāfidah (shia)], Pakistan, Tunisia, Libya, Algeria and Morocco, in the East and in the West.

So raise your ambitions, O soldiers of the Islamic State! For your brothers all over the world are waiting for your rescue, and are anticipating your brigades. It is enough for you to just look at the scenes that have reached you from Central Africa, and from Burma before that. What is hidden from us is far worse.

So by Allah, we will take revenge! By Allah, we will take revenge! Even if it takes a while, we will take revenge, and every amount of harm against the ummah will be responded to with multitudes more against the perpetrator.

{And those who, when tyranny strikes them, they defend themselves} [Ash-Shūrā: 39].

And the one who commences is the more oppressive.

Soon, by Allah’s permission, a day will come when the Muslim will walk everywhere as a master, having honor, being revered, with his head raised high and his dignity preserved. Anyone who dares to offend him will be disciplined, and any hand that reaches out to harm him will be cut off.

So let the world know that we are living today in a new era. Whoever was heedless must now be alert. Whoever was sleeping must now awaken. Whoever was shocked and amazed must comprehend. The Muslims today have a loud, thundering statement, and possess heavy boots. They have a statement that will cause the world to hear and understand the meaning of terrorism, and boots that will trample the idol of nationalism, destroy the idol of democracy and uncover its deviant nature.

So listen, O ummah of Islam. Listen and comprehend. Stand up and rise. For the time has come for you to free yourself from the shackles of weakness, and stand in the face of tyranny, against the treacherous rulers – the agents of the crusaders and the atheists, and the guards of the Jews.

O ummah of Islam, indeed the world today has been divided into two camps and two trenches, with no third camp present: The camp of Islam and faith, and the camp of kufr (disbelief) and hypocrisy – the camp of the Muslims and the mujahidin everywhere, and the camp of the Jews, the crusaders, their allies, and with them the rest of the nations and religions of kufr, all being led by America and Russia, and being mobilized by the Jews.

Indeed the Muslims were defeated after the fall of their khilāfah (caliphate). Then their state ceased to exist, so the disbelievers were able to weaken and humiliate the Muslims, dominate them in every region, plunder their wealth and resources, and rob them of their rights. They accomplished this by attacking and occupying their lands, placing their treacherous agents in power to rule the Muslims with an iron fist, and spreading dazzling and deceptive slogans such as: civilization, peace, co-existence, freedom, democracy, secularism, baathism, nationalism, and patriotism, among other false slogans.

Those rulers continue striving to enslave the Muslims, pulling them away from their religion with those slogans. So either the Muslim pulls away from his religion, disbelieves in Allah, and disgracefully submits to the manmade shirk (polytheistic) laws of the east and west, living despicably and disgracefully as a follower, by repeating those slogans without will and honor, or he lives persecuted, targeted, and expelled, to end up being killed, imprisoned, or terribly tortured, on the accusation of terrorism. Because terrorism is to disbelieve in those slogans and to believe in Allah. Terrorism is to refer to Allah’s law for judgment. Terrorism is to worship Allah as He ordered you. Terrorism is to refuse humiliation, subjugation, and subordination [to the kuffār – infidels]. Terrorism is for the Muslim to live as a Muslim, honorably with might and freedom. Terrorism is to insist upon your rights and not give them up.

But terrorism does not include the killing of Muslims in Burma and the burning of their homes. Terrorism does not include the dismembering and disemboweling of the Muslims in the Philippines, Indonesia, and Kashmir. Terrorism does not include the killing of Muslims in the Caucasus and expelling them from their lands. Terrorism does not include making mass graves for the Muslims in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the slaughtering of their children. Terrorism does not include the destruction of Muslims’ homes in Palestine, the seizing of their lands, and the violation and desecration of their sanctuaries and families.

Terrorism does not include the burning of masājid in Egypt, the destruction of the Muslims’ homes there, the rape of their chaste women, and the oppression of the mujahidin in the Sinai Peninsula and elsewhere.

Terrorism does not include the extreme torture and degradation of Muslims in East Turkistan and Iran [by the rāfidah], as well as preventing them from receiving their most basic rights.

Terrorism does not include the filling of prisons everywhere with Muslim captives. Terrorism does not include the waging of war against chastity and hijab (Muslim women’s clothing) in France and Tunis. It does not include the propagation of betrayal, prostitution, and adultery.

Terrorism does not include the insulting of the Lord of Mightiness, the cursing of the religion, and the mockery of our Prophet (peace be upon him). Terrorism does not include the slaughtering of Muslims in Central Africa like sheep, while no one weeps for them and denounces their slaughter.

All this is not terrorism. Rather it is freedom, democracy, peace, security, and tolerance! Sufficient for us is Allah, and He is the best Disposer of affairs.

{And they resented them not except because they believed in Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy} [Al-Burūj: 8].

O Muslims everywhere, glad tidings to you and expect good. Raise your head high, for today – by Allah’s grace – you have a state and khilāfah, which will return your dignity, might, rights, and leadership. It is a state where the Arab and non-Arab, the white man and black man, the easterner and westerner are all brothers. It is a khilāfah that gathered the Caucasian, Indian, Chinese, Shāmī, Iraqi, Yemeni, Egyptian, Maghribī (North African), American, French, German, and Australian. Allah brought their hearts together, and thus, they became brothers by His grace, loving each other for the sake of Allah, standing in a single trench, defending and guarding each other, and sacrificing themselves for one another. Their blood mixed and became one, under a single flag and goal, in one pavilion, enjoying this blessing, the blessing of faithful brotherhood. If kings were to taste this blessing, they would abandon their kingdoms and fight over this grace. So all praise and thanks are due to Allah.

Therefore, rush O Muslims to your state. Yes, it is your state. Rush, because Syria is not for the Syrians, and Iraq is not for the Iraqis. The earth is Allah’s. {Indeed, the earth belongs to Allah. He causes to inherit it whom He wills of His servants. And the [best] outcome is for the righteous} [Al-A’rāf: 128]. The State is a state for all Muslims. The land is for the Muslims, all the Muslims.

O Muslims everywhere, whoever is capable of performing hijrah (emigration) to the Islamic State, then let him do so, because hijrah to the land of Islam is obligatory.

Allah (the Exalted) said, {Indeed, those whom the angels take [in death] while wronging themselves – [the angels] will say, “In what [condition] were you?” They will say, “We were oppressed in the land.” The angels will say, “Was not the earth of Allah spacious [enough] for you to emigrate therein?” For those, their refuge is Hell – and evil it is as a destination} [An-Nisā’: 97].

So rush, O Muslims, with your religion to Allah as muhājirīn (emigrants). {And whoever emigrates for the cause of Allah will find on the earth many [alternative] locations and abundance. And whoever leaves his home as an emigrant to Allah and His Messenger and then death overtakes him – his reward has already become incumbent upon Allah. And Allah is ever Forgiving and Merciful} [An- Nisā’: 100].

We make a special call to the scholars, fuqahā’ (experts in Islamic jurisprudence), and callers, especially the judges, as well as people with military, administrative, and service expertise, and medical doctors and engineers of all different specializations and fields. We call them and remind them to fear Allah, for their
emigration is wājib ‘aynī (an individual obligation), so that they can answer the dire need of the Muslims for them. People are ignorant of their religion and they thirst for those who can teach them and help them understand it. So fear Allah, O slaves of Allah.

O soldiers of the Islamic State, do not be awestruck by the great numbers of your enemy, for Allah is with you. I do not fear for you the numbers of your opponents, nor do I fear your neediness and poverty, for Allah (the Exalted) has promised your Prophet (peace be upon him) that you will not be wiped out by famine, and your enemy will not himself conquer you and violate your land. Allah placed your provision under the shades of your spears. Rather, I fear for you your own sins. Accept each other and do not dispute. Come together and do not argue. Fear Allah in private and public, openly and secretly. Stay away from sins. Expel from your ranks those who openly commit sin. Be wary of pride, haughtiness, and arrogance. Do not become proud on account of gaining some victories. Humble yourselves before Allah. Do not be arrogant towards Allah’s slaves. Do not underestimate your enemy regardless of how much strength you gain and how much your numbers grow.

I also remind you to attend to the Muslims and the tribes of Ahlus-Sunnah (the Sunnis) with goodness. Stay awake guarding them so they can be safe and at rest. Be their support. Respond with kindness if they do you wrong. Be gentle with them, giving them as much pardon as you can. Persevere, endure, and remain stationed. Know that today you are the defenders of the religion and the guards of the land of Islam. You will face tribulation and malāhim (fierce battles). Verily, the best place for your blood to be spilled is on the path to liberate the Muslim prisoners imprisoned behind the walls of the tawāghīt. So prepare your arms, and supply yourselves with piety. Persevere in reciting the Quran with comprehension of its meanings and practice of its teachings.

This is my advice to you. If you hold to it, you will conquer Rome and own the world, if Allah wills.

{Our Lord, we have believed in what You revealed and have followed the Messenger, so register us among the witnesses [to truth]} [Āl ‘Imrān: 53].

{Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred. Our Lord, and lay not upon us a burden like that which You laid upon those before us. Our Lord, and burden us not with that which we have no ability to bear. And pardon us; and forgive us; and have mercy upon us. You are our protector, so give us victory over the disbelieving people} [Al-Baqarah: 286].

UPDATED: Anti-Israel Ads on Boston Public Transit System

Updated – Violence ad debunked

A new series of false and inflammatory anti-Israel ads have begun running on the Boston public transit system, known as the MBTA. The ads, which are well-done technically, recycle the usual discredited charges, such as alleged Israeli apartheid and alleged theft of “Palestinian” land.

They are sponsored by a new Cambridge-based organization calling itself Ads Against Apartheid, which is associated with the site It is Apartheid.

Alleged “Jewish-only settlements

This ad, for example, charges that Israeli settlements are for Jews only, and are supported by US taxpayer dollars.

Both charges are easily debunked:

The claim that US taxpayer dollars are used to fund settlements

According to Public Law 108-11 (Emergency Wartime Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2003) loan guarantees to Israel are reduced from what is appropriated by Congress by the amount that the US government determines was spent by Israel on settlements. The key portion of the law is quoted below:

Provided further, That guarantees may be issued under this section only to support activities in the geographic areas which were subject to the administration of the Government of Israel before June 5, 1967: Provided further, That the amount of guarantees that may be issued shall be reduced by an amount equal to the amount extended or estimated to have been extended by the Government of Israel during the period from March 1, 2003, to the date of issue of the guarantee, for activities which the President determines are inconsistent with the objectives and understandings reached between the United States and the Government of Israel regarding the implementation of the loan guarantee program …

And according to a July 31, 2012 report in the Israeli paper Haaretz (Israeli government spent NIS 1.1 billion on settlements in 2011, reports show):

Last year’s government spending on the settlements represents a 38 percent rise over that of 2010. But it is significantly lower than the peak of NIS 2.5 billion (in real terms) in 1993, when the funds were geared toward infrastructure changes required by the Oslo Accords, according to Central Bureau of Statistics findings reported on Monday by Israeli business newspaper Calcalist.

The report was prepared for U.S. officials to enable them to deduct the annual settlement expenditure from U.S. loan guarantees to Israel. In 2003 Israel stopped granting tax breaks to citizens seeking to move to the West Bank, after pledging to the United States that it would bring the benefits to an end.

Thus, under law, US aid to Israel is not used in Israeli settlements, which disproves the ad’s claim that US taxpayer dollars are used to support settlements.

The claim that Israeli settlements are for “Jews only”

There are many credible accounts of Arabs living in Israeli settlements. For example, the Washington Times (Jerusalem barrier prompts Arabs to move across town) reported that:

An unanticipated consequence of Israel’s West Bank security barrier has been an influx of Israeli Arabs into Jewish neighborhoods in East Jerusalem who hope to remain on the Israeli side of the barrier.

Salam Kusideh is one of a growing number of Palestinians with Israeli citizenship who have moved across the highway from Arab neighborhoods of Beit Hanineh and Shuafat in search of cheaper housing and a better quality of life in the Jewish suburb of Pisgat Ze’ev…

The rising prices in Arab neighborhoods are prompting people such as Mr. Kusideh to consider Pisgat Ze’ev, which was developed as a Jewish settlement in East Jerusalem in the 1980s. There, an influx of Palestinians is driving prices in the opposite direction.

Similarly the AP (Holy city twist: Arabs moving into Jewish areas) reported that:

In 2007, the latest year with available statistics, about 1,300 of Pisgat Zeev’s 42,000 residents were Arabs. In nearby French Hill, population 7,000, nearly one-sixth are Arabs, among them students at the neighboring Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Neve Yaakov, with 20,000 people, had 600 Arabs, according to the Israel Center for Jerusalem Studies [presumably this is a reference to the Jerusalem Institute for Israel Studies], a respected think tank.

All of these locations (Pisgat Zeev, French Hill and Neve Yaakov) are considered by Israel’s adversaries to be settlements, and they all have Arab residents, which clearly proves that contrary to the ad settlements are not restricted to “Jews only.”

Another ad charges Israel with murdering Palestinian children

A second ad, which features a large image of an angelic looking young girl with an overlay in large type reading “VIOLENCE,” charges that since September 2000 the Israeli military has killed one Palestinian child every 4 days, which is again extremely deceptive. In part this is because the ad only indicates in the lower right hand corner in much smaller type than the word “violence” that this includes a range of ages up to 17-years-old.

This is crucial, since most people would assume children means those, like the young girl above, who are less than ten or eleven years old.

But minors, especially males, who are 16 or 17 years old could well be combatants, and indeed quite a few of the “children” counted in the ad were armed and were killed in gun battles, or were about to fire missiles into Israel or were planting IED’s. It is therefore a further deception that the ad doesn’t show any pictures of armed Palestinian minors attacking Israelis.

Furthermore, the vast majority of deaths of Palestinian minors occurred during intensely violent periods of conflict started by the Palestinians. For example, the so-called Second Intifada, which was started by PLO Chairman Yasir Arafat and lasted from September 2000 to 2005, accounted for 49 percent of the Palestinian minors killed during the period in question.

As recounted by Dennis Ross, who was President Clinton’s chief Middle East negotiator, at a critical stage in the negotiations Arafat promised the US he would prevent violence, and then “he didn’t lift a finger”:

… there were serious discussions that went on, and we were poised to present our ideas the end of September, which is when the intifada erupted. He knew we were poised to present the ideas. His own people were telling him they looked good. And we asked him to intervene to ensure there wouldn’t be violence after the Sharon visit, the day after. He said he would. He didn’t lift a finger.

Arafat instead kept the violence going, probably because he believed it was working:

HUME: Might it not also have been true, though, Dennis, that, because the intifada had already begun — so you had the Camp David offer rejected, the violence begins anew, a new offer from the Clinton administration comes along, the Israelis agree to it, Barak agrees to it…

ROSS: Yes.

HUME: … might he not have concluded that the violence was working?

ROSS: It is possible he concluded that. It is possible he thought he could do and get more with the violence. There’s no doubt in my mind that he thought the violence would create pressure on the Israelis and on us and maybe the rest of the world.

Because Arafat started the violence and kept it going, it hardly seems fair to blame Israel for the consequences.

Similarly, a further 25 percent of the total fatalities occurred during Israel’s Operation Cast Lead, an incursion into Gaza  lasting from Dec 28, 2008 to January 18, 2009. The operation was in response to intensive Palestinian missile fire targeting Israeli civilians – since 2001, when these attacks started, well over 15,000 rockets and mortars have been fired from Gaza towards Israel.

Especially in Hamas-ruled Gaza, Palestinian “fighters” routinely hide behind women and children by storing weapons in homes or mosques in densely populated neighborhoods, and by firing missiles into Israel from those same densely populated neighborhoods. See, for example, this report, which includes videos posted by Hamas, of missiles being fired from civilian areas.

And a source close to Hamas told the New York Times that rockets were also fired from directly between buildings, using strung up sheets as camouflage:

It should be noted that firing from civilian areas in order to hinder or prevent return fire is a blatant violation of the Fourth Geneva Convention, which in Article 28 declares that:

The presence of a protected person may not be used to render certain points or areas immune from military operations.

Hamas, not Israel, is therefore responsible for the vast majority of the Palestinian civilians killed in Gaza, because they illegally attack Israel from densely populated civilian areas, thereby hiding behind civilians including women and children. And Hamas’s use of minors as combatants, also illegal, makes them responsible for those deaths as well.

In more peaceful years, when Palestinians are not attacking Israel, the toll is much lower. For example, in all of 2013 there were only five Palestinian minors killed, and at least three of those were directly involved in violent incidents.

The ad cites for its numbers the organization Defence for Children International (DCI) which is quite notorious for its bias when it comes to Israel. DCI-Palestine, for example, supports the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement against Israel and continues to propagate the discredited myth of the so-called “Jenin Massacre.”

And even if one takes at face value the numbers from DCI, the organization does not seem to give any details on the circumstances of the deaths. In contrast the Israel-based organization B’Tselem, which keeps its own tally of Palestinian fatalities allegedly resulting from Israeli actions, does publish the circumstances (though one should note that B’Tselem is itself regarded by many as very biased against Israel).

Using B’Tselem’s more detailed information helps to give a sense of what the data means. Here are some of the minors that the ad implicitly counts as children killed by Israel (the full list for the indicated time period can be seen here):

• Muhammad Ashraf ‘Abd Rabo Ghiben
17 year-old, resident of Beit Lahiya, North Gaza district, killed on 01 Mar 2010 next to Beit Lahiya, North Gaza district, by gunfire shell fired from a tank. Participated in hostilities member of the military wing of the Popular Resistance Committee. Additional information: He was killed by tank shelling while trying, with a group of armed men, to lay an explosive charge next to the perimeter fence.

A 17 year old member of a terrorist group (The Popular Resistance Committee) who is killed while trying to “lay an explosive charge” – that is, an IED – is not exactly what readers of the ad would imagine as a child killed by the Israeli army.

• Jihad ‘Ata Suliman a-Daghameh

17 year-old, resident of Abasan al-Jadida (a-Saghira), Khan Yunis district, killed on 26 Mar 2010 in ‘Abasan al-Jadidah (a-Saghirah), Khan Yunis district, by gunfire. Participated in hostilities member of the military wing of the Islamic Jihad. Additional information: Killed during an exchange of gunfire with soldiers east of Khan Yunis.

Another 17 year old, this one a member of Islamic Jihad, a notorious terrorist group, killed in a gun battle with Israeli soldiers. Again, not quite the innocent child the ad would like readers to imagine.

17 year-old, resident of Khan Yunis, killed on 01 Jun 2010 next to Khan Yunis, by gunfire. Participated in hostilities member of the military wing of the Islamic Jihad. Additional information: Killed with another armed man in an exchange of gunfire with the army east of Khan Yunis.

Another 17 year old Islamic Jihad member killed in a gun battle with Israeli soldiers. Again, not exactly an innocent child.

• Basel ‘Imad Hamad Abu Jazar

17 year-old, resident of Rafah, killed on 18 Dec 2010 next to Deir al-Balah, by gunfire missile. Participated in hostilities Additional information: Killed along with four other armed men when they were about to fire missiles into Israel, from south of Deir al-Balah.

Yet again, not an innocent child, but rather an armed 17 year old about to fire missiles into Israel.

• Suraqah Rashad Shhadeh Qdeih

17 year-old, resident of Abasan al-Kabira, Khan Yunis district, injured on 01 Jun 2012 in ‘Abasan al-Kabirah, Khan Yunis district, by gunfire missile fired from a aircraft, and died on 03 Jun 2012. Participated in hostilities member of the military wing of the Popular Resistance Committee. Additional information: Killed while firing rockets at Israel together with other armed persons, one of whom was also killed.

• Muhammad Ziad ‘Awad a-Salaymeh

17 year-old, resident of Hebron, killed on 12 Dec 2012 in Hebron, by gunfire bullets. Additional information: Killed trying to cross Checkpoint 160 in Hebron after attacking a Border Policewoman who was standing at the checkpoint, while he was holding a cigarette lighter made to look like a gun.

Again, these two are hardly innocent children.

The conclusion is clear – while there is no doubt that some innocent Palestinian children have been killed by the Israeli army, usually by mistake, and even in a few cases criminally, using the data as the ad does is exceptionally misleading and even suggests an intent to deceive the public.

Finally, it’s notable that the site and organization behind these ads, It is Apartheid, is filled with the most lurid and false anti-Israel charges imaginable, which CAMERA has debunked in detail. Since the organization behind the effort deserves no credibility whatsoever, it should come as little surprise that the ads are blatant propaganda.
