Definitions of Terrorism in the U.S. Code

18 U.S.C. § 2331 defines “international terrorism” and “domestic terrorism” for purposes of Chapter 113B of the Code, entitled “Terrorism”:

“International terrorism” means activities with the following three characteristics:

• Involve violent acts or acts dangerous to human life that violate federal or state law; (sending people into Ebola areas and bringing Ebola infected people here, as well as allowing sick people in from across the borders that have an incurable disease falls under this, as well as setting up an ambassador for death falls under it also)
• Appear to be intended (i) to intimidate or coerce a civilian population; (ii) to influence the policy of a government by intimidation or coercion; or (iii) to affect the conduct of a government by mass destruction, assassination, or kidnapping; ((i) and (ii) going with the Trojan horse from the Muslim Brotherhood’s Memorandum to conquer America internally) and
• Occur primarily outside the territorial jurisdiction of the U.S., or transcend national boundaries in terms of the means by which they are accomplished, the persons they appear intended to intimidate or coerce, or the locale in which their perpetrators operate or seek asylum.* (Iraq [ISIS], Afghanistan [Taliban], Israel [Hamas], Syria [Syrian Freedom Fighters/Rebels], Nigeria [Boko Haram] all pretty much a part of the Muslim Brotherhood that Obama has aided and abetted continuously)

“Domestic terrorism” means activities with the following three characteristics:

• Involve acts dangerous to human life that violate federal or state law; (same as first point above)
• Appear intended (i) to intimidate or coerce a civilian population; (ii) to influence the policy of a government by intimidation or coercion; or (iii) to affect the conduct of a government by mass destruction, assassination. or kidnapping; (same as second point above) and
• Occur primarily within the territorial jurisdiction of the U.S. (Benghazi)

18 U.S.C. § 2332b defines the term “federal crime of terrorism” as an offense that:

• Is calculated to influence or affect the conduct of government by intimidation or coercion, or to retaliate against government conduct; (same as first point above) and
• Is a violation of one of several listed statutes, including § 930(c) (relating to killing or attempted killing during an attack on a federal facility with a dangerous weapon); and § 1114 (relating to killing or attempted killing of officers and employees of the U.S.). * FISA defines “international terrorism” in a nearly identical way, replacing “primarily” outside the U.S. with “totally” outside the U.S. 50 U.S.C. § 1801(c).

Dianne S. Howard opposes plans by the Islamic Society of Mobile to expand its mosque just feet from her home, yards away behind a wooden fence. Never mind that the dilapidated brick mosque, which is painted a pale yellow with white trim, is in visible need of an overhaul.

For one, she said, traffic that’s already bad during Friday afternoon prayers would only get worse if the mosque were enlarged. But her concerns like those of others in her neighborhood go beyond the number of cars that fill the parking lot.

Three men who had attended the mosque have been indicted on federal terror charges, Howard noted, including the son of the longtime president. And young men seem to argue a lot in the parking lot after services, she said.

Additionally, an Alabama man and a New York native who once attended the mosque were indicted in Mobile on charges of trying to leave the country to join Omar Hammami for jihad in Africa, where he is believed to be living. One, Alabama-born Muslim convert Randy “Rasheed” Wilson, already has pleaded guilty to providing material support to terror by trying to leave the country to fight for Islam; Syracuse, N.Y.-native Mohammad Abdul Rahman Abukhdair is awaiting trial.

Shafik Hammami, the father, helped FBI agents in the investigation of his own son, Omar said, and the mosque’s imam has spoken out against Omar Hammami, calling him am “outlaw.”

The mosque, one of a half-dozen Islamic congregations in metro Mobile, has never before faced community opposition, Omar said. And it’s not planning to move.

“We have no plans to leave,” he said. “We have been here a long time.”

Behind every jihadist is an imam.

This is very prevalent in the UK currently.

As has been posted in the past throughout the internet, why are Christian pastors and laypersons arrested and/or jailed/fined for having Bible studies in their homes, but Muslims can have full, devout religious services in homes without any problems? And the federal government, especially “Christian” president Barack Hussein Obama, allows this to happen? Good thing he doesn’t cater to one religious group over another, then we would think he is a puppet to one group and is trying to help that group take over the country huh.]

DNC Islamic prayers commence led by jihad-preaching Imam

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — About 200 Muslim men, women and children prayed together Friday afternoon, as police and protesters looked on in Marshall Park for the Jumah at the DNC 2012.

The event, sponsored by the Bureau of Indigenous Muslim Affairs, was added to the official DNC Host Committee calendar and the implied endorsement angered people across the country.

Earlier this week, the committee removed the Jumah from its calendar.

Officials said speakers for the event and statements and positions from event organizers were not appropriate and relevant to the Host Committee.

Organizer Jibril Hough, of the Islamic Center of Charlotte, said the Jumah was never sponsored by the DNC Host Committee.

“The DNC did not do this. We did this,” said Hough. “It is about prayer, not politics. We want to celebrate the community and let people know about our beliefs.”

Several protesters showed up to Marshall Park during the Jumah and a few shouted and chastised the worshipers.

Police did get involved by asking the protesters to turn down their sound system.

Most of the people attending the Jumah said they felt it was a success and look forward to other Islamic events happening through the weekend.

Hough, who is on the DNC Welcome Committee, said he felt it was a historic day and is proud of his city.

Any way you look at it this was applauded by the Democrats, it was promoted as a Democratic event and even listed on the DNC schedule until the very last minute. They fully embrace Muslims even though those that call for jihad against Americans and to convert America into an Islamic state as the event’s lead imam Siraj Wahhaj has done

In a September 1991 speech in Toronto, titled “The Afghanistan Jihad,” Wahhaj told his fellow Muslims:

“Those who struggle for Allah, it doesn’t matter what kind of weapons [you use], I’m telling you it doesn’t matter! You don’t need nuclear weapons or even guns! If you have faith in Allah and a knife! If Allah wants you to win, you will win! Because Allah is the only one who fights. And when his hand is over your hand, whoever is at war against my friends, I declare war on them…. The Americans are not your friends … The Canadians are not your friends … The Europeans are not your friends. Your friend is Allah, the Messenger and those who believe. These people will never be satisfied with you until you follow their religion …”

Two months later, Wahhaj urged U.S. Muslims to become politically active as a means of augmenting the influence of their faith: “As long as you remember that if you get involved in politics, you have to be very careful that your leader is for Allah. You don’t get involved in politics because it’s the American thing to do. You get involved in politics because politics are a weapon to use in the cause of Islam.”[1]

In a 1992 sermon, Wahhaj emphasized the importance of jihad to his Al-Taqwa mosque congregation: “I will never ever tell people, ‘don’t be violent, that is not the Islamic way.’ The violence has to be selected…. Islam is the only answer because it is only Islam that we do it for Allah…. [We are] commanded to do jihad…. [W]hen Allah commands us to fight we are not stopping, no one will stop us.”

In an autumn 1992 address to an Islamic gathering in New Jersey, Wahhaj expressed his desire to have Muslims seize control of the United States and replace the country’s constitutional government with an Islamic caliphate. “If we were united and strong,” Wahhaj said, “we’d elect our own emir [leader] and give allegiance to him…. [T]ake my word, if 6-8 million Muslims unite in America, the country will come to us.”

Unindicted Co-Conspirator In 1993 World Trade Center To Officiate At Democratic Convention Program

U.S. media is reporting that Siraj Wahhaj will be the “Grand Imam” for a program to be held at the upcoming Democratic National Convention. According to a Washington Times report:

A storm is headed toward Florida, and there may be another one en route to Charlotte. The first is a hurricane, the second an issues forum that may include as many as 20,000 participants. Either way, there is an ill wind blowing for each city. The Democratic National Convention is endorsing a political platform for the organizers of a program called the ‘Jumah at the DNC.’ It begins with a jummah prayer on Friday, August 31 and ends on September 2, On the surface it appears that the event, organized by the Bureau of Indigenous Muslim Affairs (BIMA), is cultural fun for the whole family whose only political focus is Muslims’ right to assembly, but it is much more than that. The DNC lists the assembly as an ‘official function’ and claims that the leaders of the program are typical of the DNC community. The group is hardly ‘mainstream,’ being represented by Siraj Wahhaj, who will be the ‘Grand Imam’ for the gathering. Wahhaj rose to prominence on the Muslim speaking circuit after he became the first Muslim to give an invocation to the United States Congress. Following 9/11, his fame as a moderate Muslim increased when he stated, ‘I now feel responsible to preach, actually to go on a jihad against extremism.’ The reality of Wahhaj’s efforts is not as moderate as the image he projects, however.”

Siraj Wahajj is an American Islamic convert tied to the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood and an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. He has held various positions in the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), the American Muslim Council, and the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), all part of the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood and he is a frequent speaker at U.S. Brotherhood events. A post from 2008 reported that Wahajj was behind a planned New York subway ad campaign to explaining the meaning of Islam and sponsored by the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA), another part of the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood.

American Muslim convert planned to blow up the Long Island Rail Road and Wal-Mart

Bryant Neal Vinas, 29, a Long Island-raised former truck driver, who quit the U.S. Army and later joined Al-Qaeda, said that during training at a terror camp in North Waziristan in 2008, he spoke to the emir in charge of International Operations for Al-Qaeda, Abdul Hafiz al-Somali, and suggested putting suitcases with bombs on the Long Island Railroad.

Vinas said Hafiz liked the idea. “He thought the best attack would be to have a martyrdom plan where the train was still inside the tunnel to cause a big financial impact to New York.”

Vinas, the son of Peruvian immigrants who was raised Catholic, is testifying at the federal trial of Adis Medunjanin, a Queens College grad who’s accused of conspiring in a plot to bomb New York City subways.

Vinas said for the LIRR idea, the Al Qaeda official wanted to choose a “suicide bomber” who wouldn’t call too much attention to himself. “He said preferably, it would be a white man from one of the Western countries–the European Union, Canada, Australia or the United States.” Prosecutors are trying to establish that several, New York men were dealing with the same, Al Qaeda operative in Pakistan even though Vinas testified he never met Medunjanin.

Vinas also took credit for an idea to attack Wal-Mart. “You could hide a bomb inside a target you could return–preferably a TV–and you could get out of the store and it would explode,” Vinas testified. “It would cause a very big economic hit. Wal-Mart is the largest retail store in the country,” he observed.

The Islamic Terrorists of the Founding Era

For those who believe that Islamic terrorists have just recently decided to wage war against America and other free nations, get ready to be blown away. This short history lesson will show how this battle has been waged since before America’s founding.

Enter the Barbary Powers Conflict, which began during the Revolutionary War, and resulted because four Islamic nations, Tunis, Morocco, Algiers, and Tripoli regularly pirated unarmed civilian and merchant ships of the United States and other countries who they claimed were “Christian” (meaning it was the state established religion) nations. This placed the young United States in a precarious situation since they still had no warships. Prior to the Revolutionary War, U.S. ships were protected by the British Navy and during the war they found safety on the seas courtesy of the French. With the Revolutionary War over and no naval force, the Barbary Powers would capture U.S. civilians and seamen, selling the men into slavery and looting their merchandise. [1]

As a result of these incessant senseless attacks, and due to the fact that the U.S. has no Navy or standing Army, the Congress, in 1784, commissioned John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, and Thomas Jefferson to speak with the Islamic terrorists. [2] Adams and Jefferson questioned the Ambassador from Tripoli and asked him why they were maliciously attacking the United States. They recorded:

The Ambassador answered us that it was founded on the laws of their Prophet [Mohammed] – that it was written in their Koran that all nations who should not have acknowledged their authority were sinners; that is was their right and duty to make war upon them wherever they could be found and to make slaves of all they could take as prisoners; and that every Musselman [Muslim] who should be slain in battle was sure to go to Paradise. [3]

A successful treaty was established with Morocco in 1786, but the other three nations continued pirating due to the admitted religious incentive to create war. [4] The U.S. followed a strategy of appeasement, and despite negotiating many treaties, as well as paying up to twenty percent of the federal budget in of tribute (official extortion) [5], the terrorism continued. When Thomas Jefferson became President he rejected the failed policy of appeasement and stopped making extortion payments. This prompted Tripoli to officially declare war on the U.S. in 1801, the first official war for the fledgling nation. [6] Congress authorized President Jefferson to send armed vessels and a battle ensued until 1805, after which a peace treaty ended the First Barbary War.

However, by 1807, Algiers was pirating once again, and because Jefferson and the nation was focused on the preliminaries to the War of 1812, the U.S. couldn’t respond until 1815. After the war with Britain, President Madison sent warships and the military against Algiers, Tunis, and Tripoli. The American fleet defeated Algiers, but while a peace treaty was ratified in July 1815, Algiers revoked the treaty once the U.S. fleet left for Tunis. Only after the warships of Great Britain and the Netherlands descended upon Algiers did they sign a new peace treaty. [7] Finally, after thirty-two years of conflict America’s First War on Terror was over.

There are significant lessons to be learned from the Founding Fathers, even on the subject of terrorism. From the very beginning of its inception, Islam has flourished at the hand of the sword. That trend continued during the founding, and still exists today. As a result of this, with the Muslims who believe in the jihad of Islam, appeasement does not work. Jefferson was right, force will be necessary to repel the forces which intend to enslave and subvert. He wrote, “I very early thought it would be best to effect a peace through the medium of war.” [8]

As Christians, we should continue to pray for those who subscribe to the Islamic ideology. A powerful example of this in action is how Francis Scott Key befriended John Randolph of Virginia. Randolph testified that he was pulled “in favor of Mahomedianism [Islam].” Key gently shared the Gospel with Randolph, and he came to accept Christ [9], despite his prior “natural repugnance to Christianity.” [10] Incidentally, Randolph went on to be a stalwart advocate for his faith. [11] Force will be necessary to fend off the attacks from Islamic radicals, but as far as seeing to a change in their ideology and worldview, we must pray that their eyes will open to the truth.

As Noah Webster said, “Let us reject the spirit of making proselytes to particular creeds by any other means than persuasion.” [12]

Al-Qaeda lone wolf was hours away from completing bombs for US attacks

Jose Pimentel was seized by police after being filmed converting pipes into casings for bombs that could have killed dozens in New York and New Jersey, Mayor Michael Bloomberg claimed.

He was allegedly plotting to avenge the killing of Anwar al-Awlaki, the radical Islamist cleric, after reading an article in an al-Qaeda magazine titled “How to make a bomb in the kitchen of your mom”.”The NYPD remains focused on preventing another terrorist attack,” Mr Bloomberg told a late-night press conference. “This is just another case where our precautions paid off.”

Two days after Muslim leaders and activists convened by the Majlis Ash-Shura (Islamic Leadership Council) of Metropolitan N.Y. held a (November 18, 2011) prayer service and rally decrying the NYPD’s illegal, outrageous and completely inappropriate ethnic and religious-based mapping and surveillance of the New York Muslim community, Mayor Michael Bloomberg and Police Commissioner Ray Kelly have announced the arrest of an alleged “lone wolf terrorist” intent on taking innocent lives in a pipe bomb plot.

It is worth noting that the individual described by both the Mayor and the Police Commissioner was apparently tracked and, ultimately, arrested because of his interest in bomb-making and the steps he allegedly took towards assembling an explosive device. Assuming this early version of the facts is accurate, it is worth noting how different that policing approach is from the NYPD/CIA program targeting our faith community, based not on suspicion of criminal conduct but on religion, race, ethnicity, and such legally protected activities as mosque attendance, enrollment in a Muslim school, or where one shops for food or has coffee or tea. (That’s right; all Muslims should be considered terror suspects. It’s only a matter of time until they have an outbreak of Sudden Jihad Syndrome)

Working on my kuffar-killing pipe bombs

Considering the long history in America of “lone wolf” assassins and terrorists of different ethnicities, political persuasions, and religious affiliations or none, on one hand we are glad whenever a wrong or evil is averted that would result in the taking of innocent human lives. The Islamic Leadership Council of Metropolitan New York continues to oppose all acts of terrorism – at home or abroad, whether by individuals, groups, or states.

On the other hand, we await the details of this particular arrest. We are waiting to determine the answers to the following questions (Nobody owes you answers to anything)– As we have already learned that there was a “confidential informant” involved in the case for some time, is this arrest yet another example of police generated entrapment schemes and plots? (Whenever a Muslim terrorist is arrested, the Muslim infiltrators always yell about entrapment. The FBI should be investigating the Muslims behind this press release)

Authorities have been watching his every move since May 2009 and finally  cracked down on the al Qaeda supporter. He had been making pipe bombs and planned on unleashing his wrath on the city of New York by blowing up certain facilities and murdering U.S. soldiers returning from Iraq and Afghanistan.

What was the informant agent’s role in pushing the plot forward? Is the timing of today’s announcement purely coincidental or strategically convenient? Is the defendant mentally deficient or unstable in any way? How long was the NYPD monitoring the defendant’s online activities? Was the NYPD directly engaged in surveillance on the defendant in Schenectady? (How about, none of this is any of your [dern] business?)

Why were the federal authorities only at the “assessment” stage in this case, and did they decline to investigate or prosecute under federal laws? Time will tell. In the interim, we call on the independent media to ask serious and probing questions regarding the extent and nature of the threat posed by the accused. (Why just him? We’re equally interested in the threat posed by ALL Muslims)

Saudi passenger tries to get into cockpit of flight bound for Indianapolis; no charges filed

He spoke little English, but understood enough, obviously, to be able to get a ticket and get on the flight in the first place. And he apparently lied about being a student at the University of Indianapolis. But nothing to see here, folks. He was just “confused.”

INDIANAPOLIS – Federal authorities are probing the actions of a Saudi Arabian man who tried to get into the cockpit of an American Airlines flight to here.

Indianapolis Airport police said Abdulaziz Mubarak Alshammari, 20, was pulled away from the cabin door by another passenger a half hour before Flight 1936 from New York to Indianapolis International Airport landed at about 10 p.m. Wednesday.

Alshammari, who said he is a student at the University of Indianapolis, appeared confused when flight attendants and police questioned him, according to a police report. Investigators photocopied a note Alshammari wrote in Arabic while on the plane.

Scott Hall, a spokesman for the University of Indianapolis, said the school has no record of Alshammari being a student there.

Passengers said Alshammari walked to the front of the plane, then to the rear, before strolling again to the front. When he got there, he appeared to be looking for a door and started tugging on the locked cabin door.

Capt. James K. Kolostyak heard someone trying to open the cabin door and saw the interior door light come on, according to the report. He called a flight attendant on the plane’s phone system to ask what was happening.

The attendant was at the back of the plane serving passengers at the time. A passenger in seat 4B, Rodney Bailey approached Alshammari, grabbed his arm and led him back to his seat, 13B.

Bailey asked Alshammari if he were looking for the bathroom and Alshammari shook his head.

Airport police officer Jonathan Brown talked to Alshammari after the plane landed and said Alshammarri, who spoke little English, didn’t quite understand what he had done.

Alshammari said he flew from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to Doha, Qatar, to John F. Kennedy Airport in New York before heading to Indianapolis.

Police contacted The Indiana Intelligence Fusion Center and the FBI Terrorist Screening Center to run checks on the passenger. Records indicated Alshammari was not on a terrorist watch list nor wanted on criminal warrants.

No charges were filed.

Whew! “Islamophobia” charges averted!
