Christie Continues Engagement With Hamas-Linked Mosque

Last month, N.J. Attorney General Jeffrey Chiesa attended the Friday services of the Islamic Center of Passaic County, continuing the Christie Administration’s engagement with the Hamas-linked mosque and its imam, Mohammad Qatanani.

The referenced article states that “Immigration officials have sought unsuccessfully to tie Mohammad Qatanani to Palestinian terrorist groups” and he is supported by Christie and N.J. law enforcement. Actually, the Department of Homeland Security is still seeking his deportation because of the extensive evidence linking him to Hamas.

Christie first rushed to Qatanani’s defense as U.S. Attorney when the Department of Homeland Security began deportation proceedings. The mosque he leads was founded by a Hamas fundraiser. Before joining the mosque leadership, Qatanani was arrested and convicted in 1993 by the Israeli government for his links to Hamas. His failure to disclose this on his green card application triggered the proceedings.

The trial is still underway after the Board of Immigration Appeals overturned the original ruling in favor of Qatanani. In 2011, Christie appointed Qatanani’s attorney, Sohail Mohammed, as a Superior Court Judge. Last summer, Christie charged that Qatanani’s critics are anti-Muslim “bigots.”

In November, RadicalIslam.org broke the story that four Islamist-linked individuals are on Christie’s Muslim outreach committee that serves under the Attorney General. One of them is Qatanani.

This is an issue that must come up if Christie runs for president in 2016, as seems likely. Voters should know how he reacted after being informed by the DHS and multiple articles by terrorism experts. Here’s one question that should be posed to him: If Qatanani’s critics are anti-Muslim bigots, what does that make the Department of Homeland Security?

News broke out last week that the US has captured Osama Bin-Laden’s son-in-law, Sulaiman Abu Ghaith. It appears that the former Al-Qaeda spokesman was picked up as he was traveling from Turkey to Amman.

Actually, supposed ally Turkey released him.

But in Amman, capital city of Jordan, resides a woman who was far more active than Abu Ghaith in killing and maiming American citizens. Ahlam Tamimi described as a university student and part-time journalist, planned the Sbarro massacre of August 2001 in Jerusalem, and personally led the guitar-case carrying bomber to the crowded destination.

President Obama is planning to visit Israel, the Palestinian Authority, and Amman, Jordan this month. He could do a great service in the fight against terrorism by publicly committing his administration to the active prosecution of Palestinians who willfully murdered and wounded American citizens. U.S. terror victims are not asking for favors; we are asking our government to bring justice to those who have been devastated by wanton Palestinian terror funded by U.S. tax dollars.

Fifteen people were murdered in the Sbarro massive explosion, including two American citizens, and another four Americans were wounded. Tamimi was arrested, tried, and sentenced to sixteen life sentences in Israeli jail. But in October, 2011, she went free as part of the deal Israel made to release captive soldier Gilad Shalit. Today, Tamimi sits in Amman where she has her own talk show. As to her role in the bombing, one can hear it in her own words:

This state of affairs is not due to a lack of information: from the 1993 signing of the Oslo Accords to 2006, the tail end of the “Second Intifada,” Palestinian terrorists have murdered 54 American citizens and wounded another 84—including this author and his son—a total of 72 separate terror attacks. The FBI dutifully opened files on every attack and a new office was opened in the Department of Justice to “monitor” such cases: the Office of Justice for Victims of Overseas Terrorism (OJVOT).

If anything should be abolished during the present “sequester,” it is this office: the number of Palestinian terrorists tried since this OJVOT came into existence in 2005 is equal to the number prior to that date: Zero.

When Israel was set to release hundreds of convicted terrorists in the aforementioned Shalit deal, I frantically contacted officials in the US government: the two women who brought “our” bomber to downtown Jerusalem were on the launch pad for release. The U.S. belatedly passed along to the Israeli government that no terrorist with American blood on his or her hands should be released. This note was given the day before the prisoner exchange. Needless to say, Israel ignored the request and not a word was said in Washington about the matter.

It’s all too clear Holder isn’t interested in pursuing these killers however Israel had in their custody these terrorists responsible for killing Americans and knowingly released them. They share in the blame.

Obama to nominate Islamophile to head Dept of Labor (updated)

Thomas E. Perez, now the U.S. assistant attorney general heading the Justice Department’s civil rights division, will be nominated to be the next secretary of the U.S. Department of Labor, a Democratic source said.

A former federal prosecutor and official in his home state of Maryland, Perez was sworn into his current post in October 2009.

Perez, who is himself Hispanic, and his office have been active in a number of high-profile cases in recent years. They include:

– Blocking a Texas law mandating that voters present personal identification before going to the polls, after finding little evidence of voter fraud in the state.

– Findings that controversial Sheriff Joe Arpaio of Maricopa County, Arizona, engaged in “a pattern or practice of unlawful retaliatory behavior against perceived critics.”

– Findings that New Orleans police used excessive force, made unconstitutional searches and illegally profiled people based on race, ethnicity and sexual orientation.

– Standing with Muslims trying to build a mosque in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

Based on the four cases cited, Perez has been on the wrong side of most of those cases as part of the most corrupt Justice Dept. the U.S. has seen in decades if not ever. Today the Department of Justice inspector general released a report on potential Labor secretary nominee Tom Perez’s DOJ Civil Rights Division. The timing of the release to coincide with his nomination was certainly accidental, because the report paints a damning portrait of the DOJ unit he managed.

The report was prepared in response to Representative Frank Wolf’s (R-VA) outrage over the New Black Panther voter intimidation dismissal.  In response to the report, Rep. Wolf said today, the “report makes clear that the division has become a rat’s nest of unacceptable and unprofessional actions, and even outright threats against career attorneys and systemic mismanagement.”

Chavez urged Shiites’ 12th Imam to ‘come sooner’

Venezuelan president called on Muslim Mahdi, Jesus to ‘rush’ their return

Late Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, who died of cancer this week, urged the Shiite Muslims’ 12th Imam, Mahdi, to return to Earth sooner than prophesied, as revealed in a video released by Rajanews, a media outlet of Iran’s ruling Islamic regime.

Shiites believe Mahdi, the last Islamic messiah, will only come back to Earth after a great conflagration engulfs the Middle East, setting the stage for global Armageddon. When Mahdi returns, Shiites believe, Jesus Christ will be at his side. Chavez was a Catholic.

Rajanews praised Chavez as a serious world leader who supported the Palestinian cause despite the absence of some Arab leaders. Chavez said in the video that global enmity “is located in Gaza” and that the fight for Gaza and the Palestinian cause “is beneficial for Venezuela, too.”

Chavez, in a meeting with Mahmoud Abbas, the president of the Palestinian National Authority, talked of his belief in the Coming of Mahdi, according to the video, and said, “The ultimate war of them all is the war in Gaza.”

In the video, which is not dated, but appears to have been captured during a signing of agreements at the Miraflores presidential palace in Caracas, Nov. 27, 2009, Chavez told his audience “Quds (Jerusalem) is a holy place for all of us Christians. I spoke with (Iranian President Mahmoud) Ahmadinejad about the day that Islam’s Quran says both (Mahdi and Christ) will return. Jesus, holding hands with the 12th Imam, Mahdi. … Then peace will come upon the world. I tell Christ and Mahdi to come sooner, rush now, come sooner … because we witness the threats posed to the world, my God!”

Chavez served as president of Venezuela from 1999 until his death on March 5. He was diagnosed with cancer, undergoing surgery and chemotherapy in Cuba in 2011 and another operation in 2012. Although he had hoped to have recovered from his illness, he announced in December that he needed further cancer surgery in Cuba.

Iranian media on Thursday blamed the United States for Chavez’s death as part of a plot to kill off several Latin American leaders, who also have been stricken with cancer.

Ahmadinejad, who attended Chavez’s memorial service in Caracas Friday, implied in a letter of condolence to the interim president of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, that Chavez would return alongside of Jesus.

“I have no doubt that he will return alongside all the righteous and Jesus,” Ahmadinejad wrote, “and the only remainder of the righteous generation, the complete human being, will come and help the nations with the establishment of peace, complete justice, kindness and evolvement.”

Sources in Iran report many Iranians celebrated Chavez’s death and were hopeful, with him gone and with Syrian President Bashar Assad on the verge of collapse, the clerical regime in Iran could be next.

Abed Ayoub, the CEO of Islamic Relief USA, a powerful charity with links to Hamas is an official advisor to the State Department and USAID (U.S. Agency for International Development), a RadicalIslam.org investigation has found.

Ayoub has been advising the Obama Administration since at least April 2010. He and his organization have been publicly embraced by President Obama and Vice President Biden.

Ayoub was born in a Palestinian refugee camp and raised in Jordan. After high school, he moved to Yugoslavia and Germany and ultimately ended up in California. He became a volunteer for the Islamic Relief USA (IRUSA) and went on to become its CEO in 2008. He is a governance committee member of Islamic Relief Worldwide (IRW), IRUSA’s parent group. He is also on the Board of Trustees of the Center for Interfaith Action on Global Poverty.

Ayoub joined the State Department’s Religion and Foreign Policy Working Group in November 2011, specifically the Sub-Group on Faith-Based Groups and Development and Humanitarian Assistance, according to IRUSA’s press release. It says he will “take part in dialogue and provide input on relevant topics including the challenges and opportunities for partnership. The group also will identify model action programs or projects for collaboration between the U.S. government and NGOs.” The release says it will “meet through November 2012.” The timing and phrasing suggests that this isn’t the group’s expiration date and that the election will determine whether its work continues next year.

According to his bio, Ayoub was appointed to the U.S. Agency for International Development’s Advisory Committee on Voluntary Foreign Aid in April 2010, where he “provides advice, analysis and recommendations to USAID on the most pressing development issues in the world today.” He was reappointed to another two-year term in May.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ press release stated that IRW operations in Gaza and the West Bank were inseparable from that of Hamas:

“The IRW’s activities in Judea, Samaria and the Gaza Strip are carried out by social welfare organizations controlled and staffed by Hamas operatives. The intensive activities of these associations are designed to further Hamas’ ideology among the Palestinian population,” it states.

What’s especially shocking about the influence of Ayoub is that IRUSA appears to be on the radar screen of top counter-terrorism officials. A budget analyst for the National Geospatial Agency may have lost his security clearance because of his wife’s employment with IRUSA. In April 2011, Patrick Poole, a national security and terrorism reporter, quoted a high-level Justice Department source as saying to him:

“Ten years ago we shut down the Holy Land Foundation. It was the right thing to do. Then the money started going to KindHearts. We shut them down too. Now the money is going through groups like Islamic Relief and Viva Palestina. Until we act decisively to cut off the financial pipeline to these terrorist groups by putting more of these people in prison, they are going to continue to raise money that will go into the hands of killers.”

It is alarming to think that the leader of a group with strong Islamist ties, including links to Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood, is advising the State Department and the U.S. Agency for International Development. The White House is even embracing him and promoting his group.

Answers are needed. How did Abed Ayoub and Islamic Relief USA get this high-level access and influence with this background? And what is IRUSA using its influence in the Obama Administration to accomplish?

Egypt’s Islamic Group Calls for Jihad to Force Sharia into Constitution

Egypt’s al-Gama’a al-Islamiyya – or Islamic Group – is warning it could use violence as a means to ensure Sharia law is adopted in the latest draft of the country’s constitution and is calling on Egyptians to wage “jihad and fight in support of Sharia.”

This call was made by Mohamed Salah, the leader of the group which the U.S. designates as a terrorist organization. Al-Gama’a al-Islamiyya’s spiritual leader was the blind Sheikh Omar Abdel-Rahman who is imprisoned in the U.S. for his role in blowing up the World Trade Center in New York in February 1993 and for plotting to assassinate then Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak.

Egypt Independent reports:

Salah said during a conference in the Ain Shams neighborhood that Egyptians should “support Islamic Sharia in the Egyptian constitution,” and that “Jama’a al-Islamiya* will fight for the application of God’s law, even if that requires bloodshed.”

He called on Islamist movements to organize mass demonstrations to “trap secularists inside the place where the Constituent Assembly holds its meetings, so that everyone knows that the people want an Islamist [state].”

He also demanded that President Mohamed Morsy issue a decree to “defeat the schemes of liberals to reject the law of God.”

He stressed that the referendum on the constitution in its current form is forbidden by Islam, calling on the Egyptian people to “[wage] jihad and fight in support of Sharia.”

After President Mubarak was deposed last year, al-Gama’a al-Islamiyya formed the Building and Development Party (also known as the Construction and Development Party) which won 13 seats in the lower house of Parliament. Assem Abdel Meguid of that political party also had some choice words against the draft of the constitution, according to Egypt Independent:

He noted that the next step would be mobilizing millions for jihad with their lives and money in the battle to support Sharia.

He stressed on the need to unite the Islamist currents to face the liberal and secular groups that “implement Western agendas.”

Sheikh Abdel Akher Hammad, a member of the group’s Shura Council, called on group members to “mobilize themselves and get ready for the battle of applying Sharia, in the case of [the second article] remaining as it is.”

Hammad also called on Egyptians to “donate and raise funds to be used in the battle for supporting Sharia in the constitution.”

In the 1990s, al-Gama’a al-Islamiyya was involved in terrorist attacks that killed scores of tourists and also tried to assassinate President Mubarak with the aim of forming an Islamic regime based on Sharia law. It later said it was abandoning violence and apologized for past attacks. This latest call for jihad raises calls into question the group’s statement that it won’t use violence as a tactic to reach political ends.

Note: In Arabic, the letter “Jim” is pronounced in most Arabic-speaking countries like the English letter J; however, in Egypt, it is pronounced as “G.” As a result, some articles refer to the group as al-Gama’a al-Islamiyya, while others opt for “Jama’a.”

I want to remind the people that live in America, upon the voting time for our next president, that Barack Hussein Obama helped get the Muslim Brotherhood’s Morsi, a serious Shari’a Law ruler/dictator, in office, because the Muslim Brotherhood here in America asked him to work on getting riots going in Egypt to get rid of Mubarak, America’s ally, so Islam can work on taking over the world…Barack Hussein Obama did just that…then recently Barack Hussein Obama allowed a murderous, Shari’a Law inducing, anti-Semitic dictator come into the US, into the White House, where the Muslim Brotherhood’s Trojan horse lives and operates, destroying American foundations by helping sharia slowly creep in and slowly, but blatantly shredding the US Constitution. Not only did Morsi know that there would be a terrorist attack on the Libyan Consulate, but Obama knew as well, and did nothing, because he knows how Shari’a Law works against infidels and homosexuals (very possibly why he sent Stevens to Libya to begin with). You see Barack Hussein Obama’s “CHANGE” is not socialism like the majority of Americans believe, it is Islamization…that is why the Muslim Brotherhood instructed Imams into telling their ummahs to vote for Barack Hussein Obama as president, and knowing it is against Shari’a Law to vote for anything that is against Islam, and knowing that Barack Hussein Obama is a Muslim, voted for him (as polls have shown, the majority of Muslim in America voted in 2008, and polls show that around 98% (give or take) voted for Barack Hussein Obama.

Now a group from Morsi’s “kingdom” wants to spread Shari’a Law into America, violently if necessary, and not only does the Muslim Brotherhood’s Morsi do or say anything against this potential ACT of WAR, but the Muslim Brotherhood’s Barack Hussein Obama does nor says anything against this potential ACT of WAR. So, now it is your turn to decide, do you want to be a free American, enjoying your freedoms from the Constitution, or do you want no freedoms, but follow a dictatorship/totalitarian caliph…I report, you decide…

Islam v. the Supreme Court, the 50 States and YOU

ATTENTION NON-MOSLEM AMERICA, YOU BE THE JUDGE:

It’s very simple:  In Muslim ruled countries religion is the State and the State is the religion.  Therefore, after 1400 years since Islam came into being, common sense dictates Islam is a theocracy and wouldn’t be so if Muslims didn’t want it that way.   In 1947, however, in defiance of 327 years of historic and customary state/federal government interaction with the Christian religion since the nation was first settled, in spite of 156 years of no supporting judicial precedent since the 1^st Amendment was adopted, and its’ avoidance of the founding fathers’ Original Intent, the Vinson Supreme Court concocted its’ now well known but ludicrous, fictitious, and notorious decision (Everson v. Board of Education): the “WALL OF SEPARATION BETWEEN CHURCH AND STATE.”

Are Muslims, as a group after 1400 years, ready to live in a country subject to the “wall of separation between church and state?

So, how does/will this profound conflict between court ordered mandatory secular governance in the USA and Koran ordered mandatory theocratic governance in the world of Islam affect the religious practices of Muslims living today in the USA?  Are/will they be obedient to the “wall of separation” or to Islam’s theocratic Shariah Law?  Will their religiously zealous Imams (Shariah enforcers) allow them to disobey?  Even in Islam it’s understood “no man can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will hold to the one and despise the other.”  As a crisis of allegiance how do/will Muslims choose?  Also, will the biased, against Christian public worship, Supreme Court enforce its’ phony separation edict on Muslims too?

In the face of Islam’s ageless, irrefutable, and unchangeable circumstances it’s truly amazing that since the 9/11 and Fort Hood massacres some of America’s natural born, native born, or naturalized citizens can still reconcile themselves to the idea of future civil and social harmony in our country between religiously intolerant Islam and the vast majority of us Christians and other religiously tolerant non-Muslim Americans.   It is truly said “self-deceivers sow the seeds of their own destruction.”  Amen.

Theocracy – “a State, polity, or group of people that claims a deity as its ruler, a government of a State by a god or priesthood claiming divine authority:” Saudi Arabia for instance.

Caliph – “the spiritual and civil head of a Moslem state.” – Caliphate – “the office, dominion or reign of a caliph:” Iran for instance.

ATTENTION STATE LEGISLATORS:

Consider these realities:

1)            If the Islamic religion in the countries where it rules does not fit the definitions of theocracy, caliph and caliphate what does?  In plain English: freedom of religion as is practiced in America does not exist in Islamic countries.

2)            Islamic countries are ruled by the Shariah law.  For readers yet unfamiliar with it, Shariah absolutely contradicts Common Law, Constitutional law, all 26 Amendments to the Constitution and the democratic processes so loved and revered in our Republic.

3)            Even so, a growing chorus of Moslems and their Imam leaders here in America believe they have a “divine right” to not only practice Shariah but, to further advance it many openly avow they are on a holy war mission to kill the “great Satan” by any and all means necessary, including terrorism, to make Shariah the law of the land and establish a caliphate – even if it takes 100 years.  The nerve of these religiously tyrannical bastards coming to our country gaming our legal system, civil liberties and social tolerances to conspire to have their Dark Ages repressive Caliphate rule us someday.  Are you going to sit back and let this happen?

­­­4)            Since its’ “wall of separation” edict the now, not so “Supreme,” Court sits idly by while administrations of at least the past four presidents, especially Obama’s, encouraged and  supported most  favorable immigration policies for radical Muslims and their Imam leaders to come into our country?   What is the Court’s test of their allegiance to its edict on separation of church and state?

5)            Again, for obvious reasons just as the First Amendment allows for freedom of religion in matters of personal belief, it does not allow for any religious practice that is criminal and Shariah has practices that are criminal according to American laws.

6)            The Oklahoma state legislature has banned the practice of Shariah (see OKLA. JHR 1056 the Save Our State Amendment) for all the right reasons herein stated; despite that a petty recalcitrant federal judge has since wrongfully ruled it unconstitutional.

7)            Public dissension about whether or not a mosque should be built at Ground Zero is a minor sample of the social discord coming to the streets of America as an irrational, reckless immigration policy continues to swell the Muslim population.  Just as the “progressive” Muslim immigration policies that have overwhelmed most European countries with hosts of street defiant Muslims.

8)            You volunteered to be one of your state’s elected leaders which requires you follow up on this basic Constitutional public safety issue.  If you have not already done so study Shariah; then, stand up and call Islam out for the un-American conspiracy it is.

Then, for a good start by Constitutional Amendment to OUTLAW ISLAM IN AMERICA – outlaw Shariah law in your state.

Just in case you are not aware of all this about Islam thank your leftist biased, malfeasant mass media “free press.”

Oh sure, they concocted a reason about the filmmaker’s alleged violation of some probation rule, but we all know this is the Muslim-in-Chief of the United States of America following orders from his Muslim benefactors, many of whom spoke at the UN this week, to punish the maker of the anti-Islam film.

Smoking Gun  The producer of the controversial anti-Islam film “Innocence of Muslims” has been arrested for violating terms of his probation and is set for an appearance this afternoon in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles.

Nakoula Basseley Nakoula, 55, is scheduled for an initial appearance before Judge Christina Snyder, who sentenced him in June 2010 following a bank fraud conviction.

Investigators have not yet provided details about how Nakoula allegedly violated probation, but it seems clear that his involvement in the “Innocence of Muslim” production is central to the government’s claim.

Included in his probation terms were prohibitions on his use of the Internet, unless he secured prior approval from his probation officer. Additionally, he was not to “use, for any purpose or in any manner, any name other than his/her true legal name or names without the prior written approval of the Probation Officer.”

While producing “Innocence of Muslims,” Nakoula repeatedly used the alias “Sam Bacile” (and other variants) in communications, online postings, and dealings with cast and crew working on the film.

We have here a case of Muslim prophesied “Sun of the West” in the Islamic Last Days prophecies…the “sun of the West” will be a world leader that will help strongly unite Muslims throughout the world…Is Obama doing what he can to make sure that Islamic Muslims are treated with more respect than anyone else in the world? Especially in the United States? This is a president that knew about the terrorist attacks that were going to happen the U.S. Consulate two days prior to the horrific, terroristic, Islamic event, but did nothing to it, other than post an apology the morning of the incident….hhhmmm, like he knew what their “excuse” was going to be…the movie and the American freedom of Speech…why else would he apologize for our freedom of speech rights prior to, or during the incident, before the American populace even knew about it, or about the apology?

This is not a political note…however, one must look at the facts…Obama has done nothing for the American populace globally, apologize to Muslims for American freedoms, shun our greatest ally (Israel, the primary reason we became a free nation due to their helping and financing the Revolutionary War), take out anything in government documents that say the phrase “Radical/Fanatical Islam”, destroy the American economy/dollar (this is to help with the Islamic End Times prophecy that the Americans will become an Islamic country, this would happen because the dollar will be so dead, that the interest would kill us, so we would opt for becoming a Muslim so we would not have to pay interest), cater to the Muslim Brotherhood, including going against his Constitutional Oath that he had to make when he took office…if you do the math, he is a Muslim that is trying to kill America and make it an Islamic country…You make the vote on who you want to become president next year…I report…you decide…

Many are wondering whether a Pennsylvania judge went too far in dismissing a harassment charge against a Muslim who attacked a man for mocking Islam’s Prophet Mohammed.

Atheist Ernie Perce had dressed up as what he called “Zombie Mohammed” for a march at a Halloween parade in Mechanicsburg, Pa.

That’s when Perce charges a Muslim man named Talaag Elbayomy attacked him on the street.

“He grabbed me, choked me from the back and spun me around to try to get my sign off that was wrapped around my neck,” Perce recalled.

Police charged the Muslim with harassment. But when the case went to court, Cumberland County’s Judge Mark Martin not only threw it out, he slammed Perce for mocking Islam, calling him a “doofus.”

“Well, having had the benefit of having spent over two and half years in predominately Muslim countries, I think I know a little bit about the faith of Islam,” the judge said.

“So before you start mocking somebody else’s religion, you might want to find out a little bit more about it,” said Martin, who served three Middle East tours in the U.S. Armed Forces. “It kind of makes you look like a doofus.”

Perce said the judge also made reference to being a Muslim in his ruling.

“What you’ve done is you’ve completely trashed their essence, their being,” the judge said. “They find it very, very, very offensive. I’m a Muslim. I find it offensive.”

But in a phone interview, Martin told CBN News he’s a life-long Lutheran, not a Muslim.

“The victim claims that I said that I was a Muslim, and he portrayed incorrectly that I was a Muslim, and that I showed biased toward Muslims in my ruling, and really that’s ridiculous,” Martin told CBN News.

But critics, like Rep. Louie Gohmert, R-Texas, say the judge stepped out of bounds of the First Amendment.

“It’s outrageous when a judge just decides, ‘I’ve got a black robe I’m sitting up on high, so I’m going to make up my own law or follow a law other than the Constitution,'” Gohmert told CBN News.

Gohmert, who is a member of the House Judiciary Committee and a former judge himself, said Martin’s ruling in this case isn’t too far from Islamic Sharia law.

“It sounds like he’s Sharia compliant, not constitutionally compliant,” the Texas lawmaker said.

Martin, however, stands by his ruling, saying there wasn’t enough evidence to find the defendant guilty. He told CBN News he believes one of his roles is to keep peace in the community.

“Just because you have First Amendment rights that allow you to say something doesn’t necessarily mean that you should always say that thing you want to say,” Martin said.

“What I was trying to do in as quick of a time as I could, (is) educate the victim to try to help him understand a little bit about Islam,” he explained.

Police Sgt. Brian Curtis, the arresting officer in the case, was not happy with the judge’s ruling.

“I believe that I brought a case that showed proof beyond reasonable doubt, and the case was dismissed, and I was disappointed,” Curtis said.

The Muslim defendant in the case reportedly did not know it is legal to criticize Mohammed under U.S. law.
