CAIR collects millions from foreign donors thanks to non-profit shell game

09/21/2013

[Editor’s Note: This does not necessarily entail the beliefs, thoughts, or theories of the local Act chapters or the National Act office…they are my beliefs, thoughts and/or theories. I know this is old info that shows how illegal the Muslim Brotherhood’s front groups operate, trying to get more money to fund their global jihad, and they get away with it, but there is a small paragraph that I did this article on…it entails the acronym of WTF…funny how that looks, seeings as most people know that when you see WTF, in it’s written form, means “WHAT THE F**K!” But In June 2013 the Council of American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) changed their name to Washington Trust Foundation (WTF)…WTF, CAIR was found guilty of financing it’s violent terrorist group (both listed under the same terrorist “godfather” creating organization, the Muslim Brotherhood, that has made an effort to literally take over the world by creating active terrorist groups, had pirates, performed assassinations, started revolutions by creating rebels or “freedom fighters” (Libyan Freedom Fighters, Syrian Freedom Fighters) and created, with the help of one of their world leader brothers-in-arms, Barack Hussein Islama, an Islamic army, ISIS.

So, how does the MB pay for all of it’s costly violent and non violent but chaotic jihadist attacks in every Western Country in the world today, you might ask…my response is partially…WTF…they were found guilty, as CAIR, as a terrorist financier, they have been bringing American businesses and people to court because they are working with Barack Hussein Islama to make America Islamic, and want to sue people to try and show their demented “religion” is far more powerful then mere non-submitters (kuffars/infidels) by causing much chaos throughout the lands…it’s all a part of their great (and mentally unstable, Pope Boniface IV puppet and demon possessed) founder Muhammed, that commanded them to spread terror and chaos across the land to make people want to submit themselves to greedy, selfish, cruel, dictators, all for the glory of satan, I mean the idol/false god Ba’al, sorry meant the chief Arabic god at the Kaaba, prior to Muhammed, Hubal, sorry, messed up again, I meant it was all a part of the commandments given to Muhammed through their “god of skeeming/deception”…allah…did you know, historically, allah was less of a god, and less revered in the Kaaba, to Hubal, prior to Muhammed’s demon possession. And did you know that Hubal had the crescent moon and a star as part of his idol? And did you know that Hubal, in Aramaic (the shared Semetic, pre current Arabic, pre current Hebrew language) Hubal breaks down to this…HU = THE…BAL = BA’AL…anyway that was just an FYI…

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) conceals donations from overseas through a series of shell organizations, according to documents from court actions involving the Muslim advocacy group.

Since its founding in 1994, CAIR has presented itself to American Muslims and the media as a single organization centered on American concerns. But it shows a different face to the IRS, with multiple corporate entities that conceal the large financial donations that come to CAIR from Middle East sources.

As a registered lobbying group, CAIR is required to report to the IRS contributions over $5,000. Its shifting 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) branches, however, make it possible to collect millions of dollars from oil-rich Muslim nations without disclosure. Documents show CAIR has received millions of dollars in overseas contributions and tens of millions in pledges from overseas.

CAIR’s convoluted structure and funding machinations are dizzying. Today, the original Council on American Islamic Relations doesn’t exist at all. In June 2013, CAIR changed its name to the nondescriptly named Washington Trust Foundation, Inc. (WTF).

“Plentiful legal evidence, acquired in the course of a lawsuit—plus CAIR’s own official filing documents to the Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs (DCRA) and IRS—make clear that CAIR has engaged in a thinly-disguised money laundering operation,” David Reaboi, vice president for strategic communications at the Center for Security Policy, told The Daily Caller.

“In addition to violating its 501(c)(3) regulations, CAIR’s undisclosed and hidden foreign donations amount to violation of the Foreign Agent Registration Act as well,” Reaboi continued.

CAIR formed in 1994 by filing with the Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs (DCRA) and soon after obtained 501(c)(4) status from the IRS as a non-profit lobbying organization.

The year before, the organization’s two founders — current Executive Director Nihad Awad and Omar Ahmad — were captured on FBI wiretaps of high-level Hamas leaders, discussing the need for a public relations effort supporting that group. On the recorded meetings and phone calls, the terrorist group was referred to, in code, as “Samah,” as the participants made covert efforts to fund and promote its activities in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip to the tune of millions of dollars.

At the time, both CAIR founders Awad and Ahmad served in leadership positions in a key piece of the Muslim Brotherhood’s network in the United States, the Islamic Association for Palestine (IAP), which was founded by Hamas political director Mousa Abu Marzook before he was deported from the United States.

In 2008 both the IAP and CAIR founder Ahmad were designated unindicted co-conspirators in the largest terrorism funding trial in American history, US vs. Holy Land Foundation.

CAIR and other Islamic groups sought unsuccessfully to petition the government to clear its name. In 2009, U.S. District Court Judge Jorge Solis rejected their appeal and maintained their status as unindicted co-conspirators, noting, “the government has produced ample evidence to establish the associations of CAIR…with NAIT [North American Islamic Trust], the Islamic Association for Palestine, and with Hamas.”

Despite the group’s ties to Hamas and its court-documented origins as part the Muslim Brotherhood’s network in America, CAIR officials — including Awad, its communications director Ibrahim Hooper, and others — have appeared in media, been praised by politicians and continued to claim to represent the American Muslim community.

This last claim may ring hollow, though, as CAIR’s fundraising practices are constructed in a way that makes it impossible to trace large donations from overseas, including from foreign governments.

While behaving and referring to itself as a single organization, CAIR has taken advantage of the lack of donor reporting requirements for its de-listed 501(c)(4) non-profit to collect funds from large donors who remain anonymous, then depositing the funds into its 501(c)(3) entity. This practice is referred to in the federal criminal statutes as “laundering” of funds.

When foreign funds are laundered into a US political non-profit this way, it runs afoul of the Foreign Agent Registration Act, a 1938 statute requiring “persons acting as agents of foreign principals in a political or quasi-political capacity to make periodic public disclosure of their relationship with the foreign principal.” Similarly, it is illegal under US law to shift funds from overseas in order not to report to the IRS.

More than a decade after CAIR obtained a 501(c)(4) certification from the IRS, it created CAIR-Foundation, Inc., a non-profit organization to offer tax deductions to its American donors in 2005. CAIR-Foundation obtained 501(c)(3) status from the IRS in 2007.

The original 501(c)(4) CAIR then formally changed its name to CAIR-Action Network, Inc. The group never made this name change public, and its representatives have never referred to it as such.

https://www.scribd.com/embeds/169521429/content?start_page=1&view_mode=scroll&show_recommendations=true

Although CAIR-Foundation had obtained its 501(c)(3) status in 2007, it never filed required IRS 990 forms through 2008-2010, and was subsequently de-listed in 2011.

When attempting to get reinstated as a non-profit with the IRS, CAIR admitted the close relationship between the two groups:

CAIR-F 2013 IRS Reinstatement (Ex. 10 to Ex. A_OCR)

https://www.scribd.com/embeds/169513945/content?start_page=1&view_mode=scroll&show_recommendations=true

“CAIR Action Network and CAIR Foundation have overlapping boards,” the 2013 reinstatement document reads. “CAIR Action Network donates office space to CAIR Foundation at no cost to CAIR Foundation. The Council on American-Islamic Relations Action Network, Inc. (‘CAIR Action Network’), with which CAIR Foundation is closely connected, owns various trademarks related to the name CAIR and Council on American-Islamic Relations. The Organization has a license to use those trademarks from CAIR Action Network. The Organization does not pay any fee or royalty to CAIR Action Network for these licenses.”

The original 1994 CAIR (now CAIR-Action Network) maintained only one website, which listed itself as a 501(c)(3) at the bottom of page. It made no distinction between its lobbying and non-profit arms. In this way, it was able to solicit funds both transparently and non-transparently.

Under IRS regulations, an organization may have 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) related entities, but it must maintain a wall between the two. This is accomplished by establishing separate bank accounts, board of directors, bookkeeping, and payroll. CAIR, though, had none of these.

International donors, like the government of Qatar, have made donations to “CAIR.” CAIR deposits such donations into whatever bank account it chooses: its own non-reporting lobbying account or CAIR Foundation’s 501(c)(3) charitable tax deductible bank account. CAIR can then move the money to CAIR Foundation with no reporting requirements.

“According to both the letter and spirit of the law, this is illegal as CAIR is avoiding disclosure of foreign sources of funding to a 501(c)3 (CAIR-F),” Reaboi explained to TheDC.

The nature of the non-profit scheme is so convoluted even CAIR’s leadership is confused. Under oath in a lawsuit deposition, Awad, the organization’s executive director, described CAIR’s two organizations as one and the same, was unable to make a distinction between the two and even misrepresented his own role in the group. Awad states that he’s “not privy to the exact distinction between the various organizations.”

Q. Now, we talked a little bit earlier about CAIR Action Network and CAIR Foundation, correct?
Awad: Yes.
Q. And you had some idea about the distinction between those two entities. Would you tell me what you understand to be the difference between those two entities?
Awad: No, I cannot tell you exactly.
Q. Do you serve in any official capacity for CAIR Action Network?
Awad: I think I’m a board member.
Q. A board member. Are you executive director or an officer of that company?
Awad: I’m executive director of CAIR Foundation.
Q. So you serve as the executive director of CAIR Inc. and of CAIR Foundation?
Awad: CAIR Foundation.
Q. Did you not testify earlier that you serve as the executive director of CAIR Inc.?
Awad: No, I said CAIR Foundation.
Q. Okay. So again, looking—
Awad: I told you that—are you done?
Q. Please.
Awad: The names have changed over the years. And I’m not privy to the exact distinction between the various organizations. I serve in my capacity as executive director of CAIR Foundation. And I have a good understanding of what this organization is.
Q. I didn’t hear the last part.
Awad: I have a good idea of that organization, what that represents, and my capacity in that organization.
Q. I direct your attention again to the first page of CSP Depo Exhibit 5. And we are talking about the Council on American-Islamic Relations, Inc. Form 1120 2010 filing. Do you see that?
Awad: This one?
Q. Yes.
Awad: Yes.
Q. And I asked you if you were the executive director of this organization. And your answer was yes. Is your answer now that you are not the executive director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations Inc.?
Awad: Okay. I think you’re confusing me.

CAIR’s claim to represent American Muslims is contradicted by its falling membership and donations. While the group claimed “some 50,000 members” in 2007, the Washington Times showed that CAIR’s membership plummeted from a 2000 high of 29,000 to only 1,700 in 2006. Based on its IRS 990s from 2004 to 2006, CAIR’s reported membership revenue from American Muslims plunged from $119,029 in 2004 to $41,383 in 2006. This accounts for only 1 percent of the group’s funding from that year.

Even as its grassroots base continued to erode, CAIR’s revenue was increasing. The website CAIRObservatory chronicles its significant contributions from foreign donors, embassies and governments.

For years, CAIR has made conflicting statements about its overseas sources of funding. In a press release issued after the 9/11 terrorist attacks, it asserted: “We do not support directly or indirectly or receive support from any overseas group or government.”

By January 2009, however, CAIR claimed, “there is nothing criminal or immoral about accepting donations from foreign nationals… The U.S. government, corporations and non-profit organizations routinely receive money from foreign nationals.”

According to an attachment to the foundation’s Form 1023, the government of Qatar has given $405,000 over a 5 year period. This figure doesn’t include the foreign money that could come in through the lobbying arm, CAIR-AN, which has given $1,080,000 during that same period. These donors include:

Embassy of the UAE – $219,563
Kingdom Holding Company, Saudi Arabia – $199,980
National Bank of Fujairah, UAE – $100,000
Red Crescent, Abu Dhabi, UAE – $99,985
Bin Hammodah Properties, Abu Dhabi UAE – $44,985

Although the group has sometimes drawn congressional scrutiny, successive presidential administrations have stopped short of moving against CAIR.

In June of 2011, Rep. Frank Wolf, a Virginia Republican, asked the IRS to investigate whether CAIR has received or solicited funds from foreign governments.

Wolf was especially concerned about CAIR Executive Director Nihad Awad’s letter to Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi, which solicited money and praised the dictator. Wolf also asked the IRS if it is aware that Awad tried to solicit funds from Sudanese President Omar Hassan Bashir, who has been indicted internationally as a war criminal.

The IRS did not do an investigation.

According to the documents, CAIR received at least $2,792,203 in contributions, income and money from foreign principals in the form of 11 distinct transactions, including a $2,106,251 mortgage loan from a foreign principal for CAIR’s Washington, D.C. headquarters and at least $54,500,000 in pledges from foreign principals.

CAIR has met and coordinated with foreign principals on at least 35 occasions and engaged in more than 100 political influence operations on behalf of foreign principals in the United States.

CAIR did not respond to requests for comment.

UAE Designates CAIR and Muslim American Society (MAS) as Terrorist Organizations

cair-terrorists-5

by, Sharona Schwartz | The Blaze

The Council on American-Islamic Relations and the Muslim American Society are each registering their outrage over reportedly being designated terrorist organizations by the United Arab Emirates.

The two American groups were listed alongside the Islamic State group, Al Qaeda and Muslim Brotherhood branches, as well as European Muslim groups in Italy, Germany, Sweden, Norway and Finland, Britain’s Cordoba Foundation and the Muslim Association of Britain. The full list, numbering 83 groups, was approved by the UAE cabinet Saturday and was posted by the official news agency WAM.

CAIR described its inclusion on the terrorism list as “shocking and bizarre” and called on the UAE government to remove them.

“There is absolutely no factual basis for the inclusion [of] CAIR and other American and European civil rights and advocacy groups on this list,” CAIR said in a statement Sunday.

Video courtesy of: Brooke Goldstein

“Like the rest of the mainstream institutions representing the American Muslim community, CAIR’s advocacy model is the antithesis of the narrative of violent extremists,” the group said. “We call on the United Arab Emirates cabinet to review this list and remove organizations such as CAIR, the Muslim American Society and other civil society organizations that peacefully promote civil and democratic rights and that oppose terrorism whenever it occurs, wherever it occurs and whoever carries it out.”

CAIR said it recently joined other Muslim-American leaders to release an open letter in Arabic “refuting the ideology of the terrorist group ISIS and urging its supporters to repent and ‘return to the religion of mercy.’”

The Muslim American Society said in its own statement that it was “shocked” to learn of its inclusion.

“The Muslim American Society is a religious community service organization that serves people in the United States. We have no dealings with the United Arab Emirates, and hence are perplexed by this news,” the group said. “Before proceeding any further, we would first like to verify the accuracy of the news reports and receive an official response from the United Arab Emirates regarding the reports. We would also like to seek the help of our government to address this issue.”

CAIR was named by federal prosecutors in 2007 along with about 300 others as an “unindicted co-conspirator” in a Hamas funding case connected with the Holy Land Foundation trial. Hamas has been designated as a foreign terrorist organization by the U.S. government since 2007. BuzzFeed noted that a federal judge later ruled that the government should not have included CAIR as a co-conspirator list, and CAIR was never charged with any crime.

CAIR, an Islamic advocacy group, was one of the organizations that sponsored the first Muslim prayer service held at the Washington National Cathedral on Friday.

The Associated Press noted that the UAE’s decision to include the Muslim Brotherhood on its terrorist group list followed similar terrorism designations for the Muslim Brotherhood by Saudi Arabia and Egypt.

Congress Seeks to Designate Muslim Brotherhood as Terror Group

WTF took so long? With that out of the way, there are more Muslim Brotherhood moles in the U.S. government than co-sponsors of this bill, but let’s get every elected official on record with a vote. This should be telling. via Congress Seeks to Designate Muslim Brotherhood as Terror Group | Washington Free Beacon.

Congress is moving to officially designate the Muslim Brotherhood as a Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO) and impose sanctions on any person who provides the group and its affiliates with “material support,” according to a copy of the legislation obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.

The Muslim Brotherhood Terrorist Designation Act of 2014—sponsored by Rep. Michele Bachmann (R., Minn.)—seeks to slap U.S. sanctions on the organization’s political center in Egypt as well as scores of affiliates operating across America and Europe, according to the bill.

The bill currently has seven cosponsors: Peter Roskam (R., Ill.), Trent Franks (R., Ariz.), Cynthia Lummis (R., Wyo.), Kevin Brady (R., Texas), Steve Southerland (R., Fla.), Louie Gohmert (R., Texas), and Doug LaMalfa (R., Calif.).

While the United States has designated individuals and certain affiliates of the Brotherhood in the past, this is the first time that Congress has moved to sanction the organization as a whole, including all of its member organizations.

The 19-page bill seeks to build a case against the group as one of the leading sponsors of terrorism and argues that the Brotherhood has long been a key player in orchestrating attacks across the globe via its proxies.

The legislation comes as Egyptian authorities continue to crack down on Muslim Brotherhood-backers that have wreaked havoc on Christians and other minorities since the downfall of former President Mohammed Morsi.

The bill would direct the U.S. government to level all “available sanctions” to any person in the United States “who knowingly provides material support or resources to the Muslim Brotherhood or its affiliates, associated groups, or agents.”

It also moves to block anyone affiliated with the Brotherhood from receiving a U.S. visa, which could complicate the White House’s diplomacy efforts on multiple fronts.

A senior member of the Brotherhood was hosted at the White House in February, and other representatives of the group have also gained entrance to the United States, though it remains unclear just how many due to limited documentation.

Additionally, the bill would force a complete shutdown of any Brotherhood affiliates located in the United States and permit the removal of “any alien who is a member or representative” of the group.

Much of the legislation focuses on building a case against the Brotherhood and detailing its many terrorist links.

While the organization remains headquartered in Egypt, where it has faced a violent crackdown from Egyptian authorities, the Brotherhood operates across the world.

“The Muslim Brotherhood’s motto remains to this day what it has been for decades:Allah is our objective. The Prophet is our leader. The Koran is our law. Jihad is our way. Dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope. Allahu-Akbar!’ the bill states, referring to primary documents from Brotherhood leaders.

[Editor’s Note: This does not necessarily entail the beliefs, thoughts, or theories of the local Act chapters or the National Act office…they are my beliefs, thoughts and/or theories. I just want to say, “It’s about time”…I have posted that everyone needs to let their Congressmen know about the US Codes that were broken by the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) and that they do fall under the terrorist label. Now our king Barack Hussein Obama is going to do everything to stop that because is a member of the MB, he is their “Trojan horse”, and he has family that are terrorists through the organization…]

"Allah is our objective. The Prophet is our leader. Qur'an is our law. Jihad is our way. Dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope."—Muslim Brotherhood

“Allah is our objective. The Prophet is our leader. Qur’an is our law. Jihad is our way. Dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope.”—Muslim Brotherhood

Description: A brown square frames a green circle with a white perimeter. Two swords cross inside the circle beneath a red Koran. The cover of the Koran says: “Truly, it is the Generous Koran.” The Arabic beneath the sword handles translates as “Be prepared.”

Explanation: The swords reinforce the group’s militancy and, as traditional weapons, symbolize historic Islam. They also reinforce the group’s commitment to jihad. The Koran denotes the group’s spiritual foundation. The motto, “Be prepared,” is a reference to a Koranic verse that talks of preparing to fight the enemies of [their] God.

Father Of Soldier Who Obama Released, Declares Muslim Victory Call, And Obama Smiles As Soon As He Hears The War Cry Of Allah

By Ted on June 2, 2014

By Walid Shoebat And Theodore Shoebat (A Shoebat Exclusive)
JUST WAIT TILL YOU READ ALL THE EVIDENCE WE ACCUMULATED ON THIS SUPPOSED RESCUE OPERATION.

FIRST THINGS FIRST
While the Obama administration is proudly touting how it was able to free an American soldier who was captured by the Taliban, what no one picked is the fact that Obama SMILED as soon as he heard the most famous war cry of Islam, “bismillah al-rahman al-rahim,” Arabic for “in the name of Allah the most gracious, the most merciful.”

Watch Obama smile as soon as Bergdahl gives the most famous Muslim expression, the “Bismillah” or the “Basmallah”:

The “basmallah” is the Islamic expression for victory and only indicates that Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl’s father is a Muslim.

Think that the man is acting as “Muslim” for a stealth operation to rescue his son who is already in good hands in Germany? And what is with the long beard and trimmed mustache?

No this is not a bum, biker, or a Santa Clause fan. When one gives the basmallah, trims his mustache and elongates his beard, it’s the first sign of a convert to Islam, just as that an ex-Muslim putting on a cross and saying, “In the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit,” is evidence enough of conversion to Christianity. But there is much more we obtained on this stealth jihadist.

But first, Obama’s smile says much. Obama has never declared the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and has no real testimony of converting to Christianity, as his pastor Jeremiah Wright stated:

I made it easy for him to come to an understanding of who Jesus Christ is and not feel that he was turning his back on his Islamic friends and his Islamic traditions and his understanding of Islam

EVIDENCE THAT BERGDAHL CONVERTED TO JIHADI ISLAM
We were first hit with news from Breitbart that the Taliban said that Robert Bowe Bergdahl’s son, Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, converted to Islam, changed his name to Abdullah, and even trained the Taliban in bomb making techniques.

And like father like son, the young Bergdahl, also trims his mustache and extends his beard, as these pictures show:

bergdahl 1

bergdahl 2

But is it the speech with the Basmallah, the beard and the trimmed mustache, the testimonies from his colleagues on his desertion, that confirm our suspicion that these men are Jihadi converts?

Hardly.

What no one in the media captured was Robert Bowe Bergdahl’s favorites on his YouTube account.

It reveals a dark mind, a collector of a litany of ‘terrorist favorites’, videos from training on how to become Muslim Jihadist to urging American troops to desert and even favorite speeches by confirmed terrorists like Shaykh Anwar al-Awlaki, condemning America as a terrorist state:

td>
Bergdahl’s Youtube account’s favorites list has an anti-American Anwar al-Awlaki video. Notice Bergdahl’s name above the list, showing that it is indeed his account

Bergdahl’s YouTube account’s favorites list has an anti-American Anwar al-Awlaki video. Notice Bergdahl’s name above the list, showing that it is indeed his account

On one of the videos Bergdahl subscribes to a Jihadi message titled, “Duaa (prayer).”

But prayer for what? His son’s release only? Hardly, its for the release of the terrorists in American captivity. The prayer begins in Arabic, as Shoebat.com translates:

O Allah, release our prisoners, the Muslim prisoners, and send them back to our families in peace!

One would think that Bergdahl does not understand what is said in Arabic? Think again, he comments himself stating:

“Al-Hamdu Lillah, Ameen, Ameen May the duas of the ummah be heard and may Allah free my son from captivity! بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ”

English:

Praise be to Allah, Amen, Amen, my prayers for all the Muslim Nation (ummah) be heard and may Allah free my son from captivity. In the name of Allah most merciful most beneficent, it is thee whom I worship, it is thee whom I seek refuge.

He types perfect Arabic and announces he is Muslim, “thee [Allah] I worship …”

Another favorite is a lecture from Mufti Ismail Menk, who identifies himself as a Muslim scholar titled “Qualities Of A True Worshiper”. Menk was also a favorite of Boston bombing suspect Dzhokar Tsarnaev.

Another video favorited by Bergdahl, is a Muslim jihadist terrorist video uploaded by the Afghan Islamic Emirate (the same group the 5 terrorists, who Obama helped released and who Bergdahl praisingly communicated with, were a part of) on August 5, 2013, in which a verse from the Koran is chanted:

Fight them, so that there will be no mischief, and the religion will be all Allah’s (Surah 39)

The rest of the video is in Pharsi:

It appears that Bergdahl speaks Pharsi, since the video is in Pharsi, and he speaks to his son in Pharsi. The video also shows the logo of the Afghan Islamic Emirate. The video also shows dead American soldiers and praises the killing of them.

In addition, where did Bergdahl learn Muslim slogans (like Bismallah)? He learned from watching jihadist instructional videos on how to praise Allah, such as this video right here:

One of his favorite videos is Ayat Al-Kursi, a Quranic prayer Muslims use to personally invoke Allah’s protection. It is recited personally when one travels or is in need of divine protection.

The fact that he favorited this video explaining a private Muslim prayer, shows that Bergdahl was not interested in just having the appearance of a Muslim, but is truly Muslim with great inner conviction.

In another video, titled: Beautiful verses from Noble Quran PART 2, he comments:

“Al ham du lil la hi Rabil Alameen! Ar Rahmanr nir Raheem! Maliki Yawmid Deen!”

English:

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds (this world and the underworld), the owner of the day of judgment.

Bergdahl is a subscriber to Al-Ghurabaa Media, a virulent Jihadi YouTube media that features Usama bin Laden. Another subscription to Dawar Lodin learning Pashtun military terms:

He also subscribes to one Sheikh Raed
to learn Islamic prayers in Arabic.

BERGDAHL’S COOPERATION WITH THE ENEMY
Bob. Sgt. Bergdahl’s father was also in direct communications with one of the top three Taliban spokespersons named Abdulqader Balkhi. Was he planning to smoke a Hukkah? Drink Afghan tea?

No

He had messaged this top Taliban spokesperson a message for future victories:

I am still working to free all Guantanamo prisoners. God will repay for the death of every afghan child, amen!

Also, if you look up Robert Bowe Bergdahl on Intelius, it says that he worked for the Taliban:

bergdahl 4bergdahl 5

Abdulqahar Balkhi is one of three main spokespersons for the Afghan Islamic Emirate an Islamic terrorist organization, the same terrorist organization who the five terrorist that Obama released were a part of. This makes the entire story very suspicious. Obama trades five Muslims who are part of a terrorist group, for a man whose father is associated with the same terrorist group.

Balkhi is also a spokesperson for the Taliban.

Balkhi was the main spokesperson for Taliban when the U.S. Embassy was attacked in Kabul.

So what did America gain from all this? Nothing, it was the Taliban who gained. Those released were top major terrorist leaders. One of them, Muhammad Fadel, was one of the Taliban’s senior military commanders and the Taliban army Chief of staff of the tenth Division Commander, and the Deputy Secretary of Defense. Another one, Khairullah Khairkhwa, was the interior minister in the Taliban regime. He is also one of the most prominent Taliban officials since its inception in 1994, so he is considered one of the most respected and most influential in the movement. He was detained by Pakistani authorities in 2002 and handed over to the United States , according to the same source.

The other one, Mullah Norullah Noori, was responsible for Balkh province (north) in the Taliban regime. He was arrested in November 2001.

And another one is Abdul Haq Wasiq, deputy director of intelligence in the Taliban regime. He is also one of the founders of the movement and was arrested in late 2001.

At one time, the Afghan Islamic Emirate terrorist group even issued a very disturbing and violent threat to all Christian evangelists:

According to our reports…Christian evangelists and social organizations are directly inviting Afghans to Christianity… These infidels, enemies of Islam under the name of corrupt democracy and their lords, need to know that the Afghan Islamic Emirate is seriously taking your activities into consideration… The Afghan Islamic Emirate will take practical measures and has already made special plans to destroy all [their] centers one by one; the centers where plans are made that destroy the holy religion of Islam and Afghan culture.

The type of info Balkhi tweets is things like this, always depicting the American soldiers as “terrorists”. In one tweet he says:

5 American terrorists were killed when a armored vehicle was blown up at 5:30 evening in the village of Maksud in Gilai district in Ghazni state” (Abdulqahar Balkhi)

Qatari foreign minister, Khalid Al-Afiyeh, was elated at the news of Bergdahl’s release in exchange of five Taliban terrorists, announcing that he was glad to mediate in the exchange.

Some lawmakers are saying that President Obama broke the law by agreeing to a deal where he would release five of the most dangerous Taliban commanders in U.S. custody. Two of the five released are wanted by the UN for war crimes and the Joint Task Force Guantanamo deemed all five of them “high” risks to both the U.S. and its allies.

What makes this story even more suspicious, is how, as we learn from an American soldier, Bowe was a deserter who left his post. Former Sergeant Matt Vierkant, a member of Bergdahl’s platoon when he went missing on June 30, 2009, said

I was pissed off then and I am even more so now with everything going on…Bowe Bergdahl deserted during a time of war and his fellow Americans lost their lives searching for him.

According to primary accounts from other soldiers, Bowe “shed his weapons and walked off the observation post with nothing more than a compass, a knife, water, a digital camera, and a diary.”

We also learn from emails reported by the late Michael Hastings in Rolling Stone in 2012 that Bergdahl’s fellow infantrymen found out within days that Bowe no longer supported the U.S. effort in Afghanistan. Bowe himself said:

The future is too good to waste on lies… And life is way too short to care for the damnation of others, as well as to spend it helping fools with their ideas that are wrong. I have seen their ideas and I am ashamed to even be American. The horror of the self-righteous arrogance that they thrive in. It is all revolting.

Bergdahl also wrote in one email:

I am sorry for everything. The horror that is America is disgusting.

A former member of Bergdahl’s squad, who goes by “Cody,” shared that local village children in Afghanistan said that Bowe came by their area and “Wanted to meet with Taliban.”

Former Pfc. Jose Baggett, 27, who was in Blackfoot Company, said he was close to two men “killed because of his (Bergdahl’s) actions.” Baggett also said:

He walked off…He left his guard post. Nobody knows if he defected or he’s a traitor or he was kidnapped. What I do know is he was there to protect us and instead he decided to defer from America and go and do his own thing. I don’t know why he decided to do that, but we spend so much of our resources and some of those resources were soldiers’ lives.

Bowe obviously was a mule who was being used by the Taliban to help them ambush American soldiers who were looking for him. Cody revealed:

A huge thing in country is not building patterns. Well when you are looking for a person everyday that creates a pattern. While searching for him, ambushes and IEDs picked up tremendously. Enemy knew we would be coming. IEDs started being placed more effectively in the coming weeks. Ambushes were more calculated, cover and concealment was used

Loyal soldiers infuriated because of Bowe’s actions since it led to the deaths of American troops. One soldier said:

It was unbelievable… All because of the selfish act of one person. The amount of animosity (toward him) is nothing like you’ve ever seen before. …I don’t understand why we’re trading prisoners at Gitmo for somebody who deserted during a time of war, which is an act of treason

In neighboring Pakistan, there is a 72-year-old Jew named Warren Weinstein who was captured by Al Qaeda over two years ago while working as a consultant on US government programs. No one in the government reaches out to rescue that Jew despite that Weinstein sent a video message last December, addressing the US government and said “now when I need my government, it seems that I have been totally abandoned and forgotten.” Obama’s administration has said it will not negotiate with Al Qaeda for Weinstein’s release, but is all ready to negotiate with the Taliban to release terrorists, plus the mule who was sent for the mission. That smile of the fox standing by his mule is telling that Obama has always wanted to shut down Guantanamo.

Obama, in his last term, is becoming blatant with his Islamic sympathies.

Kansas: Sedgwick County Sheriff Surrenders to Hamas-CAIR

Sedgwick County Sheriff Jeff Easter today cancelled next week’s planned UTT 2-day training program, caving in to complaints by Hamas and local Muslim Brotherhood leaders in Wichita and other parts of Kansas.

For more details, watch the local ABC Report

The loudest complaints came from Hamas spokesman Ibrahim Hooper.  Hooper works for the Hamas organization called the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR).  For those confused about CAIR being Hamas…

In a December 2007 government filing in the US v Sabri Benkhala appeal – an Al Qaeda operative – the government stated:  “From its founding by the Muslim Brotherhood leaders, CAIR conspired with other affiliates of the Muslim Brotherhood to support terrorists.”  A massive amount of evidence entered into the largest Hamas trial ever successfully prosecuted in U.S. history (US v Holy Land Foundation (“HLF”), Dallas, 2008) identified CAIR as the fourth organization created by the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood’s Palestine Committee in America.  The Palestine Committee is Hamas.  Hamas is a designated Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO) by the U.S. government.

When CAIR petitioned the Federal Court to remove it’s name from the Unindicted Co-Conspirator list in the HLF case, the trial Judge Jorge Solis wrote in his 2010 unsealed opinion, “The Government has produced ample evidence to establish the associations of CAIR, ISNA, and NAIT with the HLF, the Islamic Association of Palestine (“IAP”), and with Hamas.”  CAIR was left on the Co-Conspirator list.  CAIR appealed the ruling and the appellate court ruled unanimously to keep CAIR listed as an “Unindicted Co-Conspirator” in the largest Hamas trial in U.S. history because of the overwhelming evidence.

Other Muslims in the community who complained to the Sedgwick Sheriff’s office were leaders and spokesmen from the local Muslim Students Associations (the first Muslim Brotherhood organization established in America in 1963) and the Islamic Society of Wichita – a Muslim Brotherhood organization and a subsidiary of the Islamic Society of North America which is the largest MB organization here and a financial support entity for Hamas per the evidence at the HLF trial.

These are the groups and individuals who have led the charge to shut this training down in Wichita…enemies of the United States.

Because of the nature of the threat from the Islamic Movement in the United States (an insurgency), the burden falls to local police to be the tip of the spear in countering their efforts here.  When local police leaders are not aware of this and do not understand their critical role in the larger war, the war will be lost.

In the press release today the Sedgwick Sheriff’s Office stated:  “The Sheriff’s Office will find an instructor, either from the Department of Justice or another subject matter expert to present such material in the future.”  Unfortunately for Wichita law enforcement, this material is not being presented by any other organization in the nation besides UTT.  A few years ago during a 3-day program at Headquarters Marine Corps for approximately 115 professionals from FBI (to include the National Joint Terrorism Task Force personnel), CIA, DHS, DIA, NSA, local and state police, military, and others, a Counterterrorism Supervisor from FBI Headquarters stood up in front of the entire crowd and stated he never heard any of the material presented but confirmed it was true and factual based on the evidence and materials presented.  When asked, none of the other attendees were aware of this information either, including the men and women from the FBI’s National Joint Terrorism Task Force in attendance.

So, by canceling this training in Kansas, the Sedgwick County Sheriff has not only emboldened our enemy – namely the Muslim Brotherhood/Hamas – he has ensured that local law enforcement will NOT get the very training they need to protect and defend their communities.

CAIR national spokesman Ibrahim Hooper called the sheriff’s decision “really good news.”

Good for jihadists because as usual, the media is either ignorant or complicit in explaining to American citizens exactly who CAIR is, their terrorist history and their ultimate objective.

The Truth About CAIR

A civil rights organization?
The Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) is routinely presented in the mainstream media as a civil rights organization. Its consistent pattern of encouraging Muslims not to cooperate with law enforcement is never mentioned. Reporters citing CAIR as a source or authority almost always fail to mention that CAIR is an unindicted co-conspirator in a Hamas terror funding case — so named by the Justice Department. During that case, a captured internal document of the Muslim Brotherhood was released, naming CAIR’s parent organization, the Islamic Association for Palestine, as one of its allied groups, and explaining that the mission of Brotherhood groups in the U.S. was “eliminating and destroying Western civilization from within and sabotaging its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and Allah’s religion is made victorious over all other religions.”

CAIR operatives have repeatedly refused to denounce Hamas and Hizballah as terrorist groups. Several former CAIR officials have been convicted of various crimes related to jihad terror. CAIR’s cofounder and longtime Board chairman (Omar Ahmad), as well as its chief spokesman (Ibrahim Hooper), have made Islamic supremacist statements. CAIR has opposed every anti-terror measure that has ever been proposed or implemented. Its California chapter distributed the poster above telling Muslims not to talk to the FBI, and its officials have told Muslims not to cooperate with law enforcement:

Interfering with counter-terror efforts
Worst of all, when federal investigators began looking into the disappearances of Somali Muslim men in Minnesota, and it turned out that they had returned to Somalia to wage jihad with the al Qaeda-linked group al Shabaab, Muslims who opposed this jihad accused CAIR of hindering the investigation and trying to prevent from them speaking with law enforcement officials.

In June 2009, a Somali Muslim named Abdirizak Bihi, whose nephew, Burhan Hassan, was killed in Somalia, held a protest against CAIR in Minneapolis, denouncing it for encouraging Muslims not to speak with the FBI. “We don’t want anyone to come into our community and tell us to shut up,” said Bihi. “Law enforcement will not be able to do anything without information from the community.” Protesters chanted, “CAIR out! Doublespeak out!” Another protester, Osman Ahmed, said he and other relatives of Burhan Hassan thought CAIR, for all its claims of moderation, was actually on the side of the jihadists: “They are supporting the groups we suspect of recruiting our kids. We refuse to be silent.”

Bihi later told the House Committee on Homeland Security that “CAIR held meetings for some members of the community and told them not to talk to the FBI, which was a slap in the face for the Somali American Muslim mothers who were knocking on doors day and night with pictures of their missing children and asking for the community to talk to law enforcement about what they know of the missing kids.”

CAIR’s interference bore bitter fruit in late September 2013, when al-Shabaab jihadists, including several Muslims from the United States, stormed an upscale mall in Nairobi and murdered upwards of seventy people, after freeing the Muslims and declaring that they only wanted to kill non-Muslims. In a case of spectacularly poor timing, just two days before the massacre CAIR released a report on “Islamophobia” entitled Legislating Fear: Islamophobia and its Impact in the United States, in which it harshly criticized Rep. Peter King (R-NY) for holding a series of hearings on Muslim radicalization in the United States, including one on al Shabaab recruitment in America. “In his opening statement for the hearing,” the CAIR report said, “King cited an incident in Minneapolis, saying, ‘When one cleric spoke out against al-Shabaab
inside the Minneapolis mosque where many of the missing young Somali-American men had once worshiped, he was physically assaulted, according to police.’

This statement is noteworthy as it continued King’s line of factually inaccurate attacks on the Muslim community.” The report complained that King had painted Somali Muslims in Minneapolis as uncooperative with investigators, when in fact, it said, “law enforcement officials had indicated a Somali community in Minnesota that was concerned and helpful” – an ironic charge given how angry Somali Muslims who wanted to help law enforcement were toward CAIR for trying to stop them.

Abdirizak Bihi lamented after the Kenya mall jihad murders: “I tried to warn America,” but CAIR worked hard to stop him, even calling him an “Islamophobe” in their September 2013 report on “Islamophobia.” Bihi echoed numerous other foes of CAIR in explaining their tactics: “They say that I am a bad person, that I am anti-Muslim, and that I don’t represent a hundred percent the Somali community. They lie about my life most of the time and try to destroy my character, my capability, and my trust in the community.”

Faking hate crimes to promote the “Islamophobia” myth
CAIR has even to fabricate anti-Muslim hate crimes in order to support its case that Islamophobia is rampant (and caused in large part by counter-terror analysis). There were at least six incidents falsely described as hate crimes in CAIR’s 2004 report on such crimes. These included “the July 9, 2004 case of apparent arson at a Muslim-owned grocery store in Everett, Washington,” in which “investigators quickly determined that Mirza Akram, the store’s operator, staged the arson to avoid meeting his scheduled payments and to collect on an insurance policy. Although Akram’s antics had already been exposed as a fraud, CAIR continues to list this case as an anti-Muslim hate crime. In another incident, a Muslim-owned market was burned down in Texas in August 2004. Although the Muslim owner was arrested the following month for having set the fire himself, CAIR included the case in its report.

Unsavory beginnings

Nihad Awad and Omar Ahmad, two officials of the Islamic Association for Palestine (IAP) (a Muslim Brotherhood-linked group) founded CAIR in 1994. The federal government shut down the IAP in 2005 as a Hamas front.

The Immigration and Naturalization Service reported in 2001 that the IAP was so close to its parent organization that it published and distributed Hamas communiqués on its own letterhead, “as well as other written documentation to include the HAMAS charter and glory records, which are tributes to HAMAS’ violent ‘successes.’” Oliver Revell, a former chief of the FBI’s counter-terrorism department, called the IAP “a front organization for Hamas that engages in propaganda for Islamic militants.”
CAIR officials convicted of jihad terror activity.

It comes as no surprise, then, that several CAIR officials have been convicted of participating in violent jihad activities. Randall Todd (“Ismail”) Royer, CAIR’s former communications specialist and civil rights coordinator, participated in the “Virginia jihad group,” which was indicted on forty-one counts of “conspiracy to train for and participate in a violent jihad overseas.” Royer is now serving a twenty-year prison sentence after a plea bargain that had him pleading guilty to lesser charges.
Ghassan Elashi, the founder of CAIR’s Texas chapter, is likewise now in prison for jihad activity. In 2009, he was sentenced to sixty-five years in prison for funneling over $12 million in charitable contributions to Hamas while serving as head of the Holy Land Foundation. Other former CAIR officials have been convicted of jihad terror activities as well, raising the question of how this supposedly moderate group failed so abysmally to distinguish “moderates” from “extremists.”

CAIR itself was named as an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land case. The organization not only facilitated donations to the Holy Land Foundation, but also received money from it – no less than half a million dollars. CAIR cofounder Nihad Awad vehemently denied this when terror researcher Steven Emerson confronted him: “This is an outright lie. Our organization did not receive any seed money from the Holy Land Foundation. CAIR raises its own funds and we challenge Mr. Emerson to provide even a shred of evidence to support his ridiculous claim.” Emerson then published an image of the canceled check.

Yet despite its connections to the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas, the terror convictions of several of its former officials, and its virtually unanimous opposition to counter-terror laws, investigations, and other initiatives, CAIR remains widely respected. Nearly everyone (particularly in Washington) assumes that it is exactly what it says it is: a Muslim civil rights organization, working for the rights of Muslims in the U.S. and deeply loyal to Constitutional principles and freedoms. The organization’s website features testimonials from congressmen and senators of both parties, as well as security and military officials, testifying to how the organization has surpassed even al-Qaeda financier and former leading Washington “moderate” Abdurrahman Alamoudi in its deceptiveness.
The foolish and wrongheaded support for CAIR cuts across all political and ideological lines. The CAIR website even carries a testimonial from Bill O’Reilly: “Number one, it’s not fair of to you criticize CAIR, OK? Because CAIR isn’t fostering any kind of jihad, as far as I know.”

The U.S. government agrees, despite the Justice Department’s earlier designation of CAIR as an “unindicted co-conspirator” in the Holy Land case. In July 2010, the State Department sent the Executive Director of CAIR’s Michigan chapter, Dawud Walid, to Bamako, Mali to try to foster “sustained interaction” between the U.S. and Mali. While in Mali, Walid sounded CAIR’s familiar notes of Muslim victimhood, claiming that “American Muslims have been subjected to increased discrimination from racial and religious profiling by law enforcement.”

If the U.S. is going to prevail against jihad terrorism and Islamic supremacism, the influence and power of CAIR must be halted, and CAIR itself must be prosecuted.

Overview
The Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) describes itself as a “non-profit, grassroots membership organization…established to promote a positive image of Islam and Muslims in America,” [1] and to protect Muslims from hate crimes and discrimination. According to the council’s spokesman Ibrahim Hooper, “We are similar to a Muslim NAACP.”[2] CAIR has further explained that it is “dedicated to presenting an Islamic perspective on issues of importance to the American public.”[3]
Although CAIR’s main activities are on the national political scene and not directly on campuses, it does support pro-Palestinian groups and frequently participates in anti-Israel and peace rallies.[4] CAIR presents itself as a legitimate Congressional lobby, attempting to function within the context of American values. Since CAIR promotes itself as an organization that protects rights of oppressed Muslims, many people consider it a respectable group (Democratic presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich even attended a recent CAIR fundraiser.)[5] It supports Muslim civic participation, civil rights and is a hate-crime watchdog. CAIR even had a series of pro-American-Muslim ads on American television. Despite its attempt to portray itself as a champion of Muslim civil rights, CAIR espouses radical views and has publicly endorsed radical militant Islamic groups around the world. According to many terrorism experts, CAIR is on the wrong side of the war on terrorism. Consider some of CAIR’s positions:

CAIR has strong ties to the terrorist group Hamas:
• “[CAIR] was formed not by Muslim religious leaders throughout the country, but as an offshoot of the Islamic Association of Palestine (IAP). Incorporated in Texas, the IAP has close ties to Hamas and has trumpeted its support for terrorist activities.”[6] Former chief of the FBI’s counter terrorism section, Oliver Revell, called the IAP “a front organization for Hamas that engages in propaganda for Islamic militants.”[7]

• CAIR’s head, Nihad Awad asserted at a 1994 meeting at Barry University, “I am a supporter of the Hamas movement.”[8]

• Former FBI counter terrorism chief, Steven Pomerantz, stated publicly that, “CAIR, its leaders and its activities effectively give aid to international terrorist groups.”[9]
CAIR promotes extremist views and a radical Islamic vision:

• At a speech in Fremont, California, Omar M. Ahmad of CAIR proclaimed that, “Islam isn’t in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant. The Koran…should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on Earth.”[10]

CAIR spokesman Ibrahim Hooper equates Christian leaders such as Rev. Jerry Falwell, Pat Robertson and Rev. Jimmy Swaggart with Osama bin Laden because he claims that given the chance, they would commit mass murder against Muslims. “They’re the equivalent of our Osama bin Laden,” Hooper told WABC Radio’s Steve Malzberg. When asked to clarify if Osama bin Laden’s goal was to kill Christians, Jews and Westerners, Hooper responded, “Yes, that’s one of his goals. And I’m sure that, given the right circumstance, [Falwell, Robertson and Swaggart] would do the same in the opposite direction.”[11]

• CAIR is an apologist for convicted Islamic terrorists:
• CAIR’s founder, Nihad Awad, wrote in the Muslim World Monitor that the 1994 World Trade Center trial, which ended in the conviction of four Islamic fundamentalist terrorists, was “a travesty of justice.” According to Awad — and despite the confessions of the terrorists from the 1993 attack — “there is ample evidence indicating that both the Mossad and the Egyptian Intelligence played a role in the explosion.”[12]
• On Feb. 2, 1995, U.S. Attorney Mary Jo White named Siraj Wahhaj as one of the “unindicted persons who may be alleged as co-conspirators” in the attempt to blow up New York City monuments. Yet CAIR deems him “one of the most respected Muslim leaders in America” and includes him on its advisory board.[13]
CAIR is reluctant to condemn terrorists and terrorism:
• In October 1998, the group demanded the removal of a Los Angeles billboard describing Osama bin Laden as “the sworn enemy,” finding this depiction “offensive to Muslims.”[14]
• In 1998, CAIR denied bin Laden’s responsibility for the two Al Queda African embassy bombings. According to CAIR spokesman Ibrahim Hooper, the bombings resulted from a “misunderstandings of both sides.” [15]
CAIR supports organizations that fund terrorism:
• When President Bush closed the Holy Land Foundation in December 2001 for collecting money that intelligence found was “used to support the Hamas terror organization,” CAIR decried his action as “unjust” and “disturbing.[16]

Organization Background
The Council of American Islamic Relations (CAIR) is a Washington D.C. based, nationally active Muslim advocacy organization. Founded in 1994, its stated goal is to “promote a positive image of Islam and Muslims in America” and to present an “Islamic perspective on issues of importance to the American public.”[1] According to national spokesman Ibrahim Hooper, CAIR is “similar to a Muslim NAACP.” [2]
Initially, CAIR succeeded. It formed 24 chapters in the US and one in Canada,[3] and it seemed to be accepted in mainstream politics. It became a frequent guest at official State Department and White House events. [4] When the Clinton White House began actively reaching out to the Muslim community in 1996, it often included CAIR in its guest list, along with MPAC (Muslim Public Affairs Council), AMC (the American Muslim Council) and AMA (the American Muslim Alliance).[5] Just after 9/11, when the Bush administration hurried to reassure American Muslims that Islam was not the target of the war on terrorism, it included CAIR in its invitation to the White House.[6]
Despite this recognition, CAIR’s mainstream image had begun to crack within a few years of its founding. When terrorism expert Steve Emerson testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee in 1998, he warned that CAIR was a radical Islamist group.[7] Reports also surfaced that CAIR received funding from Saudi Arabia-in 1999, the Saudi’s Islamic Development Bank granted CAIR $250,000 to buy land in Washington DC to build its headquarters.[8]
According to Muslim moderates and many terrorism experts, CAIR often rallies behind radical Islamic organizations and uses fundamentalist rhetoric. Muslim scholar and author Khalid Durán charged that CAIR is “an Islamic front” and that it did not represent American Muslims: “scarcely 10 percent of American Muslims can be classified as Islamists-the extremist fringe of contemporary Islam. An additional 5 percent are sympathizers, and another 5 percent agree with Islamists on certain issues.”[9]
According to Durán, CAIR is a spin-off of the Islamic Association of Palestine (IAP) and “the principle front organization of a coalition of Islamist (or fundamentalist Muslim) groups that have taken root in America over the past two decades”[10] (see MPAC). Many of these IAP spin-off groups have come under federal investigation due to their close ties to terrorist organizations.[11] Former FBI counter terrorism chief Oliver “Buck” Revell called the Islamic Association For Palestine, “a front organization for Hamas that engages in propaganda for Islamic militants.” [12] On Sep 17, 2003, U.S. Senator Schumer publicly stated that prominent members of CAIR- specifically Nihad Awad and Omar Ahmed-have “intimate links with Hamas.” Later, he remarked that, “we know [CAIR] has ties to terrorism.” [13]
CAIR’s most prominent leaders are Ibrahim Hooper, an African-American convert to Islam, and Nihad Awad, a Palestinian and former employee of IAP.
Founded a mere decade ago, CAIR has already come under legal scrutiny. Federal prosecutors began investigating it and its leaders for illegal operations and suspected ties to terrorist groups. For example, CAIR’s former community affairs director, Bassem K. Khafagi, was arrested January 2003 and pled guilty to three federal counts of bank and visa fraud.[14] Federal investigators said a group Khafagi founded, the Islamic Assembly of North America, had funneled money to activities supporting terrorism and had published material advocating suicide attacks on the United States.[15] (At the time of his arrest, Khafagi was still Community Affairs director with CAIR.[16] ) Furthermore, Ghassan Elashi, a founding board member of the Texas chapter of CAIR, was indicted Dec. 17, 2002, in the northern district of Texas for engaging in financial transactions with Hamas leader Musa abu Marzook.[17]
Although CAIR’s agenda seems to focus predominantly on spreading Islam within the United States, it nonetheless relentlessly opposes the existence of the state of Israel, calling it a “racist country and state.”[18] CAIR’s official position on terrorism remains ambivalent at best, as spokesman Ibrahim Hooper in a Pittsburg Post-Gazette interview refused to denounce the terrorist actions of Hamas and Hezbollah, stating, “we’re not in the business of condemning.”[19] However, CAIR was quick to condemn Israel’s assassination of Hamas leader and terrorist mastermind Sheik Yassin, saying it “condemned the assassination of a wheelchair-bound Palestinian Muslim religious leader,” calling the operation “an act of state terror.”[20]
Even during the optimistic years of the Oslo Accords, CAIR’s anti-Semitic and anti-Israel positions were highly pronounced. In 1994, CAIR founder and executive director, Nihad Awad declared that before the peace talks between Israel and the Palestinian Authority he “used to support the PLO,” but that now he was “in support of the Hamas movement more than the PLO;” [21] implying that he supports the destruction of Israel by force alone, and rejects negotiations aimed at peaceful coexistence. In 1998, CAIR also co-hosted a rally at Brooklyn College where Islamic militants exhorted the attendees to carry out “jihad” and described Jews as “pigs and monkeys.”[22] The crowd reportedly chanted: “No to the Jews, descendants of the apes.”[23] Ironically, CAIR called the conviction of Omar Abdel Rahman, the blind sheikh who planned to blow up New York City landmarks, a “hate crime” against Muslims,[24] yet graciously coordinated a series of meetings for Bassam Alamoush, a Jordanian Islamic militant who told a Chicago audience in December of that year that killing Jews was “a good deed.”[25]
Furthermore, outspoken advocates of moderate Islam and critics of militant Islam such as Steve Emerson, Daniel Pipes and Khalid Durán have also come under ferocious attack from the group as being enemies of Islam or Islamophobes. In fact, as a result of CAIR’s bitter attack on Durán, a militant Islamic leader in Jordan put out an edict calling for his death, one which CAIR denied ever occurred– let alone refused to condemn.[26] The group also relentlessly opposed noted Islamic expert Daniel Pipes’ appointment to the board of directors of the U.S. Institute of Peace. CAIR spearheaded the efforts that labeled Pipes a bigot and an extremist. Pipes was later personally appointed by the Bush administration.[27]
While CAIR members are not frequent guest speakers on campus, they do help organize rallies and on occasion receive invitations to speak. The Muslim Student Association of Rensselaer University in New York invited CAIR’s executive director in Canada, Riad Saloojee, to speak at their Muslim Awareness Week event in February 2004. The student Republicans threatened to demonstrate and expose CAIR’s positions. The lecture was subsequently cancelled.[28]

HOME DEPOT allows CAIR to instruct them on how to make their stores more ‘sharia-compliant’

HD_475x80

Another American company has taken the bait that the Muslim Brotherhood terror-linked organization CAIR (Council on American Islamic Relations) has cast.

Daily Roll Call  (h/t Mike F) The Home Depot in Dearborn MI, was the latest victim succumbing to the demands of an organization that shouldn’t even be in existence in the United States. Once again, the questions that begs to be answered is how is this training even occurring? Since when are “religious” entities allowed to give training to corporations, albeit private, when no other religion could do the same?  The following is CAIR’s announcement of its “cultural” training:

cair-highlight

Does Home Depot believe they need to “better serve their Muslim customers”? Here in America isn’t it a practice of retail corporations to better serve ALL of its customers? What exactly does this mean? Why do corporate managers need to understand their Muslim employees any better than their Jewish and Christian employees?

In CAIR’s booklet titled “An Employer’s Guide to Islamic Religious Practices” it sets demands upon employers that are seemingly outrageous and quite discriminatory to other religions. For example:

Friday is the day for congregational worship, called Jum’ah. The prayer generally takes place at a mosque during the noontime prayer and includes an address or sermon, and lasts a total of 45 to 90 minutes.

Performing the rituals of the pilgrimage may last five days during the second week of the twelfth month of the lunar calendar. However, considerable variations exist in trip arrangements, and group travel may take 10-21 days. Muslim employees may choose to make pilgrimage using vacation time.

Employers may wish to modify dress code policies so that religiously-mandated attire is addressed as a diversity issue. For example, many corporations have a policy forbidding the wearing of “hats.” This rule may be amended to exempt items such as head scarves and skullcaps.

A Muslim employee should not be asked to serve or sell religiously offensive products, such as alcoholic beverages

These so-called Muslim “accommodations” are nothing more than the forcing of American institutions to comply with a law that is completely and unequivocally antithetical to our Constitution and our laws. It is called Sharia Law, and the acceptance of the above demands is opening a dangerous door that will soon be unable to close.

In a world where Christians are being slaughtered by muslims, how can any American, let alone American Corporation blatantly ignore the travesty by embracing the enemy.

CALIFORNIA: CAIR demands GOP repudiate Gubernatorial Candidate’s Anti-Sharia Facebook Posting

CALIFORNIA: CAIR demands GOP repudiate Gubernatorial Candidate’s Anti-Sharia Facebook Posting

imagesRepublican gubernatorial candidate and Assembly Member, Tim Donnelly, posted a Facebook comment accusing fellow candidate Neel Kashkari of making “the United States submit to the Islamic Sharia banking code in 2008 when he ran TARP.” The Facebook post included a link to a column by Islam expert Frank Gaffney.

TIM DONNELLY

In a statement, Muslim Brotherhood front group and pro-sharia organization CAIR-CA said:

“It is a shame that an elected official uses xenophobic and anti-Muslim rhetoric to discredit a member of his own party. Mr. Donnelly not only demonized his opponent, but also alienated the entire Muslim electorate. We urge responsible leaders of the Republican Party to repudiate Mr. Donnelly’s smear campaign and to marginalize any member of their party who uses such divisive and hateful discourse.”

From the LA Times

Donnelly ties GOP rival Kashkari to Sharia

GOP gubernatorial candidate Tim Donnelly launched a blistering attack accusing Republican rival Neel Kashkari of associating with fundamentalist Islamic law.

soft jihad

“BREAKING: Neel Kashkari supported the United States submitting to the Islamic, Shariah banking code in 2008 when he ran” the taxpayer-funded federal bank bailout, a Donnelly campaign associate wrote on the candidate’s Facebook page Monday. “Shariah is ‘the seditious religious-political-legal code authoritative Islam seeks to impose worldwide under a global theocracy.’ This revelation is spreading fast, as people … refer to Mr. Kashkari’s support of Shariah an ‘October Surprise.’”

Sharia law is an Islam-based code that governs personal and business behavior. Many global business interests deal with its banking laws, which forbid the charging of interest. But its criminal code is controversial, prompting protests on Monday by celebrities and others at the Beverly Hills Hotel over its owner, the sultan of Brunei’s, imposition of the law and its treatment of gay people and others in Brunei.

As the head of the bank bailout under President George W. Bush, Kashkari in 2008 delivered welcoming remarks at a conference about “Islamic Finance 101.” An article pointing to the event as evidence of the government “submitting” to Islamic law and written by an author who draws ire from many mainstream Republicans is posted as proof of Kashkari’s connection with Sharia law on Donnelly’s Facebook page.

Donnelly stood by his remarks late Monday.  “Given the recent stories and protests about the outrage of the discriminatory nature of Sharia law, we’re horrified that Kashkari would support Sharia anything,” he said.

Florida: Terror-linked CAIR mad stealth textbook dawah to be slowed

Posted on April 23, 2014 by creeping

via CAIR protests textbook bill; says it’s rooted in anti-Muslim bigotry – BizPac Review.

A bill making its way through the Florida legislature requiring local school districts to review textbooks used in classrooms is now the target of the Florida chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, known as CAIR.

The group contends that the bill, SB 864: Instructional Materials for K-12 Public Education, introduced by Sen. Alan Hays, R-Umatilla, would create an unfunded mandate posing an unnecessary burden on local school districts, according to its statement released Monday, which says:

SB 864 has the potential to jeopardize the entire Sunshine State school system with an unnecessary law for a problem that does not exist by:

•  Imposing a tremendous unfunded mandate on our school districts
•  Depriving school districts of the state’s “economy of scale” in textbook purchasing power
•  Reducing Florida’s influence over textbook content
•  Opening the adoption process to social and political bias
•  Threatening the constitutional requirement for a uniform system of free public schools

However, what is really at stake for the group is its claim that the bill was prompted by anti-Muslim bigotry. Hayes sponsored the bill in response to a history book that residents of Brevard County claimed in July emphasized Islam’s influence on the world while minimizing Christianity and Judaism.

“World History,” published by Prentice-Hall, “has a 36-page chapter on Islam but no chapters on Christianity or Judaism,” Florida Rep. Ritch Workman, R-Melbourne said. “It’s remarkably one-sided.”

The dispute eventually spilled over into Volusia County, where critics said the text “whitewashes” the history of Islam.

The bill is nearing passage in both chambers.

Sounds more like the stealth dawah that got Islamic propaganda into American textbooks in the first place is about to be challenged. Of course, relying on the government to do what parents should be doing anyway is never a good idea.

Do you know what your kids (grandkids) are reading in school?

Great Idea, Ibrahim Hooper!

IPT News
April 18, 2014

ibrihimIn a heated exchange last week, Ibrahim Hooper – national spokesman for the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) – issued a put up or shut up kind of challenge to his organization’s critics.

Hooper was pressed by Fox News host Megyn Kelly about CAIR’s record of failing to condemn terrorist groups like Hamas and Hizballah and other questionable positions. Hooper tried to deflect, blaming “Internet hate sites” for fueling “hate-filled smears against CAIR, which was founded in 1994.

“Please find something that CAIR has done or said in those 20 years that you find either extreme, objectionable, intolerant, whatever,” Hooper said.

Don’t mind if we do.

We’ve documented CAIR’s dubious record for years, noting in a 2009 report that the group responds to the very kind of specific examples Hooper demands to see by issuing ad hominem attacks against the messenger.

So, in a decidedly-less funny tribute to Late Show host David Letterman’s pending retirement, here are the IPT’s top 10 examples of “extreme, objectionable, intolerant, whatever” actions by CAIR. Together, they undermine CAIR’s credibility as a mainstream, reliable arbiter in the debate about terrorism, extremism and the treatment of Muslims in America:

You’ll have to provide your own drumroll.

10. Using civil rights instruction to scare the daylights out of Muslims and drive a wedge between the community and the FBI.

CAIR officials say their “Know Your Rights” seminars simply are meant to educate people that they have a right to have counsel present for questioning if the FBI approaches.

That would be fine if that’s all they were. But CAIR’s message is wrapped in paranoia, casting the FBI as an out-of-control monster whose agents will do everything and anything to set up innocent Muslims.

“They will do anything, anything within their power and oftentimes beyond their power to get you to talk,” CAIR-New York board member [CAIR has taken the page down] Lamis Deek said at a 2011 seminar. “They will threaten you. OK? I’ve had one case where they tried to blackmail my client, I mean blackmail, seriously blackmail; that’s illegal. But they’ll do it.”

This came two months after CAIR’s San Francisco chapter posted a flyer online urging Muslims to “Build a Wall of Resistance. Don’t Talk to the FBI.” In response, Hooper tried to minimize the incident as a misinterpretation. The problem wasn’t the flyer and its message. Instead, he told Fox News – surprise! – it was an “attack by the Islamophobic hate machine.”

9. False Accusations of FBI Shootings

It has not happened often, but FBI agents have shot and killed Muslim suspects in separate episodes. In each case, CAIR immediately cast the shooting as unjustified, and demanded independent investigations. In each case, those wishes were granted. But when the reviews reached the opposite conclusion, that the shootings were justified based upon the suspect’s actions, CAIR refused to accept that the suspect may have escalated the situation. This emphasis on blaming law enforcement no matter what should be viewed in the context of CAIR’s campaign against the FBI illustrated in #10 above.

In 2009, agents shot and killed Detroit Imam Luqman Abdullah. Abdullah fired first as agents moved in to arrest him for conspiracy and weapons charges. A Justice Department Civil Rights Division investigation concluded that agents opened fire “only after Imam Abdullah brandished a concealed handgun and shot toward them and that they legitimately feared that Imam Abdullah was in a position to cause death or significant injury to another.”

Even though the report made a point of showing that audio recordings, ballistics and other evidence all corroborated the agents’ accounts, and even though “[a] Glock 9mm handgun was found next to Imam Abdullah after the shooting and it had been fired,” CAIR officials continued to cast the shooting as “an overblown military type raid.” CAIR dismissed the findings, along with similar conclusions from the Dearborn Police Department and Michigan attorney general, as “superficial and incomplete.”

Last month, CAIR again took issue with an independent investigation for failing to agree with their spin. Ibragim Todashev, a friend of Boston Marathon bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev, was shot and killed by an FBI agent after hours of questioning in his Florida apartment. Todashev, a “skilled mixed-martial arts fighter,” implicated himself in a triple murder in Massachusetts. Witnesses say he grew anxious and agitated before heaving a coffee table at the FBI agent, hitting him in the head. He grabbed a five-foot-long metal pole over his head “with the end of the pole pointed toward [the FBI agent] as if intended to be used to impale rather than strike,” the investigation found.

CAIR’s Tampa director said the report raised “several concerns and key inconsistencies and … many important unanswered questions.” The failure to bring charges hurts the FBI’s credibility, he wrote on Twitter.

8. Refusing to Condemn Hamas and Hizballah as Terrorist Groups.

CAIR officials are great about condemning “all forms of terrorism and religious extremism.” But try to drill down and ask about specific terrorist groups and CAIR does everything but give a straight answer. They’ll stick with the universal rejection of anyone who engages in political violence as spokesman Corey Saylor did in 2008. Or, they’ll refuse on principle, as Hooper did in 2002 when he told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette that “We’re not in the business of condemning.”

That’s consistent with Hooper’s dodge in the weeks after 9/11. Challenged by journalist Jake Tapper, Hooper hedged when it came to Osama bin Laden, saying “If Osama bin Laden was behind it, we condemn him by name.” Tapper was surprised — “why qualify the response?” he asked.

“Hooper said he resented the question.”

Or, they’ll go to bluster.

In that 2001 interview with Tapper, Hooper rejected the question about Hamas as “word games from the pro-Israel lobby.”

This past November, CAIR-Los Angeles chief Hussam Ayloush reacted angrily to the very question. Simply being asked to condemn Hamas was “not acceptable,” he said, and “proves that you have nothing but bigotry in you.”

The group had no reservations condemning Israel, however, especially after it struck Hamas targets. CAIR condemned the killing [CAIR has taken the page down] of Hamas founder and spiritual leader Ahmed Yassin. The statement didn’t mention his role in Hamas, but cast him as “a 67-year-old quadriplegic and the most prominent Palestinian Islamic figure.”

In 2008, CAIR called reporters to a news conference to condemn Israel’s 2008 “Cast Lead” incursion into Gaza aimed at stopping rampant Hamas rocket attacks targeting Israeli civilians. CAIR co-founder and Executive Director Nihad Awad demanded “that our government, the U.S. government, take immediate steps to end the immoral and illegal Israeli bombardment of Gaza and its population.”

He said nothing about the Hamas rocket fire.

For CAIR officials, attacks on Israeli civilians may not be seen as terrorism, but as a form of “resistance.”

7. Lying About it to Megyn Kelly and Fox viewers.

In his appearance on Fox last week, Hooper misled the audience.

“We’ve condemned Hamas, we’ve condemned every Hezbollah, we’ve condemned — we’ve condemned every organization that’s on the list of terrorist designated by the U.S. government,” he said.

6. Standing by Accused Terrorists and Terror Supporters

Our 2008 dossier on CAIR featured an entire section devoted to CAIR’s consistent behavior in casting doubt on terrorist and terror financing prosecutions. In each case, it was more than reminding people that, in our system, a person is innocent until proven guilty. To CAIR, these cases were inherently flawed, driven by politics, and unfair to Muslim Americans.

Among the examples:

• The conspiracy case against 11 Northern Virginia men who trained and planned to travel to wage jihad against American troops in Afghanistan after 9/11 was draconian and an example of “selective prosecution of Muslims since the 9/11 terror attacks.”

• The 2008 conviction of five men tied to the Texas-based Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development (HLF) “was based more on fear-mongering than on the facts,” CAIR said in a statement [CAIR has taken the page down]. “It is particularly troubling that the government chose to use testimony from an anonymous witness, which deprives the defendants of their full right to confront their accusers. We expect the defendants to appeal this verdict and believe that it will eventually be overturned.”

It wasn’t.

• The 2011 arrest of Mansssor Arbabsiar for plotting to kill Saudi Arabia’s ambassador to Washington, which was tied to elements inside the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps’s Quds Force was dismissed by key CAIR leaders as a trumped up entrapment case.

A year later, Arbabsiar pleaded guilty, admitting that “he conspired with officials in the Iranian military who were based in Iran, to cause the assassination of the Saudi Arabian Ambassador while the Ambassador was in the United States.” CAIR said nothing about that.

But that position is consistent for CAIR, which casts virtually all arrests of terror suspects in FBI sting operations as inherently suspect. CAIR-San Francisco representative Zahra Billoo told a local television “that the FBI was looking for a sensational story” rather than stopping a threat when it arrested a man who believed he was about to blow up a packed Christmas tree lighting ceremony in Portland, Ore. Walid, the Michigan director mentioned earlier, has said

CAIR officials also have claimed that the war on terrorism had become a war on Islam, a statement considered significant in radicalizing young Muslims. When we wrote about it in 2011, Hooper demanded a correction. CAIR officials, he argued, merely said there was a perception. Their emphasis on this issue, he argued, somehow had nothing to do with accepting or reinforcing that perception.

5. Working to silence/marginalize critics, especially fellow Muslims

This one is fresh from the headlines. CAIR helped pressure Brandeis University last week into withdrawing plans to bestow an honorary degree on author Ayaan Hirsi Ali. She renounced Islam, and is dedicated to combating abuse of women in Muslim societies, especially the incidents of female genital mutilation. It is driven from her personal experiences.

But CAIR likened the original Brandeis plan to honor Hirsi Ali “to promoting the work of white supremacists and anti-Semites.”

CAIR has twice failed in attempts to get Zuhdi Jasser, a fellow Muslim who opposes CAIR’s Islamist political agenda, removed from the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom. Most recently, CAIR believed Jasser should be disqualified because they don’t like people who have supported his work financially. Jasser was appointed to a new term a week ago.

CAIR even tried to intimidate Somali Americans who were trying to stem the flow of young men in the Minneapolis area who returned to Somalia to fight with the al-Shabaab terrorist group. It called two men “anti-Muslim” for participating in a seminar which included a discussion about al-Shabaab.

4. Trying to stifle any discussion radical Islam plays in terror attacks and plots.

When Army psychiatrist Nidal Hassan opened fire on his fellow soldiers at Fort Hood in 2009, CAIR argued that Hassan’s religious motivation should not be part of the ensuing debate. Hassan, however, self-identified as a “Soldier of Allah” on his business card and gave a presentation called, “Why the War on Terror is a War on Islam.” But Hooper went on a radio show to speculate that perhaps Hassan “just snapped … when these things happen and the guy’s name is John Smith nobody says well what about his religious beliefs? But when it is a Muslim sounding name that automatically comes into it.”

CAIR officials downplay religious motivation in other terror plots and say terms like jihad and radical Islam should not be used in discussing terrorist plots and attacks by Muslims. In that vein, CAIR conspired with a political scientist in 2010 to gin up sales of a book which claimed that religious extremism was a minimal factor in suicide bombings.

3. Soliciting dictators for donations.

CAIR directly asked the late-Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi to underwrite a program to distribute Qurans. Awad praised Gaddafi as “the world Islamic popular leader.” Law enforcement sources told the IPT that Awad met with officials representing Sudanese President Omar Hassan al-Bashir in November 2009, months after Bashir was charged with crimes against humanity.

State Department records show that a CAIR delegation sought millions of dollars during trips to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates in 2006.

2. Appearing on Iranian and Hamas television to criticize the treatment of Muslims in the United States.

Though the practice has waned, CAIR officials from throughout the country have proven more than happy to appear on Iran’s Press TV and Hamas’s Al-Quds television. The CAIR representatives rarely spoke about the freedom Muslims enjoy in America. Rather, they painted pictures of Muslims being demonized in America and unfairly targeted by law enforcement. The one time Hooper did say something positive, he followed it by saying, “there is also a sense of being under siege from these hate mongers that are constantly trying to demonize our faith.”

When violent, anti-American protests broke out in Muslim countries in 2012, a CAIR official told Press TV that, “People have had enough of what is seen by them, what looks to them like America’s war on Islam.”

And the No. 1 example of CAIR being “extreme, objectionable, intolerant, whatever…”

The Palestine Committee.

Although it is a Muslim advocacy organization, CAIR was born from an original sin. It was part of something called the Palestine Committee, a Muslim Brotherhood umbrella organization created to support Hamas politically and financially. The evidence for this comes not from “Internet hate sites,” as Hooper is fond of saying, but from internal documents seized by the FBI and admitted into evidence in the HLF trial.

Here’s a Palestine Committee meeting agenda listing CAIR among its member organizations. Here’s the committee’s telephone list, including CAIR founders Awad and Ahmad (listed as Omar Yehya). Here’s a federal judge’s opinion that the government produced “ample evidence to establish the associations of CAIR …. with Hamas.”

CAIR has never acknowledged this history. They even tried to argue that the Palestine Committee never existed.

It didn’t work.

This evidence is the reason that the FBI cut off relations with CAIR outside of official investigations in 2008.

“[U] ntil we can resolve whether there continues to be a connection between CAIR or its executives and HAMAS, the FBI does not view CAIR as an appropriate liaison partner,” an FBI assistant director explained in a 2009 letter. [Emphasis added]

The policy remains in effect, meaning the question has not been resolved.

Yet, in his interview with Kelly, Hooper tried to make relations between CAIR and the FBI seem fine, saying “we have relations, we’re on a daily contact with the FBI on civil rights issues –on a variety of things.”

Rather than acknowledge their record and try to claim things have changed, Hooper and CAIR engage in denial and deflection. Read through this Top 10 again. The examples cited come from the mouths of CAIR officials themselves or from court documents.

CAIR must fear what would happen if the broader public understands that, thus the emphasis on “Internet hate sites.”

Ibrahim Hooper issued a challenge. We thank him for it.
